Sorted an awkward oversized shipment to Iceland instead of defaulting to a pallet
Forwarding a gaming chair from the German warehouse to Iceland — a big, awkward box that got automatically flagged on arrival as possibly needing a pallet, which would have added a lot of cost. Rather than leaving it at that, Jhe in customer service checked with the warehouse team, confirmed it could ship safely in its original manufacturer carton, and came back with a straightforward FedEx International Economy quote at a fair price.
What I appreciated: the flag was explained rather than just asserted, all costs were disclosed before anything was invoiced, and the replies were prompt and clear throughout. Shipping anything bulky to Iceland is normally painful and wildly expensive — this was neither. Parcel is booked and awaiting collection now.
