The service was very good my only criticism was that it would have been nice to be able to have a choice of courier services. I was not happy with the one that was available.

We are in very difficult times within shipping at the moment, many budget services have been suspended due to lack of space on flights. I see that you shipped via UPS who are one of our premium couriers however we also offer shipping to the Seychelles via DHL and TNT who both offer a very good service.

We do feel that we offer good value for money, not only offering a shipping service but taking care of your parcel from receipt to delivery.
We have experienced lots of challenges as other businesses during the CV19 pandemic, couriers have added emergency surcharge, increased labour costs due to courier delays, segregating teams so they are safe and extra PPE required.
We hope our customers understand that we are unable to compete with the likes of retailers who ship overseas, they make their money on the sale of goods, shipping is our business and we do need to cover our costs for the level of service we provide.

The service is good but the shipping cost is horrendous! We paid £33 for a small empty box (to transport a record player arm). I think there should be an option to send my Royal Mail. Also when they send you notification that the parcel has arrived at their warehouse, they require further info about it before they can take payment. The problem is that it’s not made clear what they want. I eventually worked it out that they need the cost of the item and a copy of the order form (for Australian GST requirements).

Shipping costs do include the use of the address, the acceptance, processing, storage and dispatch of your goods. This includes full support of our customer service team from the receipt to the delivery of your goods.
We aren't able to compete with companies such as Amazon as our business is shipping whereas they make their money on the sale of goods. We do offer a budget untracked service for small very low value parcels however due to a issue with collection of GST with the mail service we are unable to offer the service to Australia.
Since the Australian government have introduced the collection of GST for low value imports we do need to ask for proof of purchase for goods as we need to ensure we are charging customers the correct fees for Goods and Service Tax on the value of the goods. We are however looking to make this process easier for our customers in the coming year.
I hope this helps explain the service you received and that this is for a complete service and not just the fee for onward shipping.

I see that the item you received was a prepaid card, as a rule we do not permit our customers to use their account for financial products however we do make an exception for prepaid cards which have no credit facility attached to them.
Due to this being a financial products we need to be very careful to ensure we are shipping a card to the correct person so have extra procedures in place to check the customers identity before shipping the card onwards overseas. We need to also ensure that the country in question also permit this kind of import.
These extra checks do take sometime and therefore an additional charge is applied to the shipment for the work involved.

This is my first order and it went fairly smooth. I used the personal shopper as the retailer would not allow an American PayPal. The PS helped me through the process. It’s not cheap but when you just gotta have products not sold in USA This works. Will definitely use again and highly recommend. But be sure to read the process and understand the cost.

Having been using the forwad2me service for years and well over 50 times total so I should actually give it a full 5 star review but there is actually a big lack of couriers available. I work in an international webshop here in Finland and we get really good prices from GLS, for example. Some cheaper options should definitely be listed besides just UPS and DHL. I'm on the edge with the prices since I order over 40 items at a time and end up paying a lot more than just shipping fees. I'm trying to do side business selling the items here but the fees eat up so much profit that it's a matter of time when I have to give it up. However, the service works amazingly well and it's super convenient to order from eBay for example when the sellers won't ship to your location. I'm happy forward2me is there!

We placed your shipment on hold pending a response, when we did not hear from you we then released the shipment for onward forwarding, this did however result in a delay in shipping your goods. Please be assured that we did have your best interests in mind, as we had found a more cost effective way to ship the goods.
With regards to the parcel that has not yet been delivered, I see from the tracking that this has now arrived in Italy, after being separated from the other two parcels in transit, this should be delivered to you soon.

I see that you are based in New Zealand, in recent months the New Zealand government have added Goods and Service Tax to all lower value shipments being imported into your country. Due to the volume of parcels Forward2me ship to New Zealand we were required to register for the collection of this tax which has inevitabily impacted on the overall price of shipping lower value shipments.
Unfortunately these extra charges are out of our control however we continually work to make shipping for our customers as cost effective as possible.
We do offer a 30 day free storage period so if you ship on a regular basis it may be more cost effective for you to collate a number of parcels at your forward2me address and consolidate them into one shipment.
Many customers take advanatage of this offer to ensure that they obtain the maximum value when shipping.
I hope this suggestion helps going forward and you consider using our services again in the near future.

I believe the seller shipped the goods to your forward2me address instead of directly to your home address in Germany.
Unfortunately we cannot compete with UK sellers domestic pricing, they often provide this as a loss leader as they make their money on the sale of the product however as we are just providing a service and cannot command this kind of pricing from our couriers. We are an international courier and don't have the same options for a company who ships within the UK on a day to day basis.
I feel that we gave you a very competitive price for shipping to your overseas address and are thinking due to the seller making an error with the shipment they would have offered compensation to you to cover these costs.
