I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the transit times incurred whilst shipping via our services.
Due to the current Corona Virus Pandemic we are experiencing many delays with lockdowns and delayed customs service. Unfortunately there have been lots of delays in your part of the world and some shipments have incurred lengthy delays, this is out of our control. None of the couriers are guaranteeing transit time at the moment due to the situation being so volatile.
Hopefully services will return to normal soon and standard shipping times resume.

Estimated shipping cost inflated to more than double when item arrived. Weight was the same as when estimated. I was forced to send the item back to the original sender.

I'm thinking there has been a misunderstanding here on how shipping fees are calculated. The cost of shipping is generally calculated by the amount of space that your shipment occupies, rather than the actual weight. This is called the volumetric weight. All couriers (examples: DHL and TNT) use the volumetric weight to calculate their shipping prices. However, if the actual weight is more than this volumetric weight then the shipping price is calculated using this actual weight.
I see that the actual weight of your parcel was 1.65 kg however the volumetric weight of the parcel was 5.20 kg therefore the shipping fees are based on the higher volumetric weight.
I'm thinking when you obtained your original quote you entered the actual weight rather than the volumetric weight and this is why the price for shipping is higher than expected.
We do offer a combine and repack service where our processing team repack your goods as efficiently as possible, this can reduce overall size of the package and therefore shipping costs. Due to the items you have shipped being footwear, it is sometimes difficult to reduce the overall size of the package due to the shoe box.
I hope this helps explain why the shipping cost could have been more than you expected however if you wish to check shipping costs before going ahead with another purchase please contact our Customer Care team with the weight and dimensions of the package and they will be very happy to confirm the cost of shipping for you beforehand.

Charge cheaper for shipping cost. It took 1 month to ship from UK to Australia. The first oldest item I bought in the bundle, I got to see the physical condition after more than 2 months (1 month at UK storage and 1 month to ship). Warranty period has lapsed and thankfully the item was sold as described. I don't like to pay for inefficiency/incompetence

We do feel that the cost of our service offers good value, we not only offer shipping but the use of the UK address, the acceptance, processing, storage and dispatch of the goods including all export paperwork for shipping.
We have found over the past year due to the Australia Government introducing the charge of GST on both the value of the goods and the service provided when shipping lower value goods has made shipping to your country more expensive however these extra costs are above our control and we need to charge these fees to comply with the import regulations in your country.
I'm sorry to hear that your shipment took so long to deliver, one month is longer than expected in normal times however due to the current situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic many services have been disrupted and delays have occurred. This again is out of our control, customs authorities have backlog, borders have been closed and many many more issues down to lack to staffing levels and quarantine procedures.
Generally shipping goes very smoothly to Australia however at present we recommend that you use the Express Services available rather than the economy one chosen, the economy services have been hit the hardest due to economical flights not being available to the couriers.

I see that you have chosen the budget untracked service where the goods are shipped via the mail service with no tracking. Unfortunately due to this service not having any tracking we cannot guarantee any kind of timescales for transit or locate the current whereabouts of the parcel until it arrives with you.
On choosing this service we do advise customers that there is no tracking and the option is chosen at their own risk as we are unable to offer any kind of customer service support for this type of delivery. We always recommend that you choose on of the fully tracked door to door courier services so we can offer full support until delivery. The untracked service is there as a very basic option for customers shipping very low value parcels where transit times are not important to them.
I hope this helps explain the difference in the untracked and courier tracked services however if there is anything else we can do to assist you please don't hesitate to get in touch with our customer service team and they will be happy to assist you further.

The parcel was damaged by UPS during transport and they did not honour the claim although it was obvious that the damaged was caused by improper handling. Forward2me offered a 50% compensation as a gesture of good will which is good but it is certainly not 100%

From the photographs you provided I am certain forward2me repacked the goods as safe and secure as possible for shipping and that UPS were at fault on this occasion although they did not take responsibility.
We always want to ensure customers feel that we have done our very best for them hence the offer of compensation as a gesture of goodwill on our part.
Sometimes it is very hard to prove the damage has actually been caused by the courier and even if they take responsibility they do not offer full compensation for the goods.

All their advertising claimed how easy and simple it is to use their services. Effortless and easy. Definitely NOT the experience I had.
I ordered perfume from the UK to be freight forwarded to me in Australia. I didn't get an estimate or quote before hand of what it would cost for your items to ship to me. Not sure if there is an option to do that. I should have probably done more research. You only find out once its shipped to their warehouse- that's if they will be able to ship it to you!
They asked me for paperwork to clarify the order once it had arrived. I went through the whole process of validating everything and it still wouldn't go through.
Eventually when I queried why nothing was working, they inform me that they were refusing to ship my stuff because it was labelled as 'dangerous goods'.
The options they gave me were then to 1) discard the product ( £600++ worth of product which they would kindly toss for free), 2) send it back to the sender for a fee, or 3) ship it to a local address for another fee.
All in all, I'm lucky I have a friend who lives in the UK who can keep it for me until I can see her in a year or so! I had not wanted to bother her with a package. For my consideration - instead of costing me £6 to ship it direct to her, it cost me £30 to finally get it to her and days of back and forth with forward2me. What a waste of time. Imagine if I didn't have a friend in the UK - I would have lost all my money and product!

Perfumery products are classed as dangerous goods for shipping and although we have undertaken a vigorous training programme to be able to ship these kind of products there are some countries that our couriers do not support shipping of these type of goods.
We do explain this situation on our website both on the faq section and on our terms of trade to ensure customers contact our customer service team to seek advice before looking to ship items classed as dangerous goods.
When a customer overlooks this advice and receives goods that we are unable to ship, we do our very best to help them return the goods to the seller or ship to another UK address. If this is not possible we would look to dispose of the goods free of charge however we would not do this unless the customer asked us to do so.
The rules for shipping dangerous goods are governed by the International Air Transport Association, they govern what can be carried on flights, both forward2me and the couriers need to abide by these rules otherwise they risk a hefty fine.

The service itself was good, but I had to pay a lot of money for transport services to Fedex that were not accounted before. I don't mind paying the taxes, but everything else should have been included in the payment I made to forward2me.

We don't currently have the facility to charge customers up front for their customs duty and taxes so these are levied in the local country by customs there according to local laws. This is advertised on our website to advise customers this is the process.
We do understand this would be a good feature to offer our customers and are looking into the process to see if this is a service we can offer. Hopefully in the future at some point we can offer this option to our customers.

Es fehlt ein Hinweis, dass Pakete mit alkoholischem Inhalt stets einer Kontaktaufnahme mit dem SUPPORT bedürfen und grundsätzlich der "Repack-Service" mit zusätzlichen Kosten in Anspruch genommen werden muss. Außerdem ist in diesen Fällen mit mindestens einer Woche Beförderungsdauer zu rechnen - auch hierauf wird nicht hingewiesen - eilige Pakete kommen sicher zu spät an! Die Kontaktaufnahme per Telefon ist de facto unmöglich - angeforderte Rückrufe erfolgen nicht! Der Service ist ausschließlich per Mail erreichbar, war dort aber bemüht und hilfsbereit.

I see that first you are unhappy as you need to contact us regarding the shipping of alcohol that arrives to your account. I confirm this is a manual process at the moment and customers do need to contact Customer Service regarding the shipping of this commodity, this is mainly down to the complexities of shipping alcohol overseas and certain checks need to be made before the goods can be shipped from the UK.
I know this can delay the process for customers however we do our very best to arrange manual repack and invoicing requests within 24 hours whereever possible. We are looking to automate this service in the coming months so hopefully this process will become smoother for the customer.
With regards to contact, due to unprecedented demand on our small customer service team during the COVID 19 situation there has been a delay in the past few months in responding to customers queries and we have had to prioritise emails over other communciation channels replying to customers as quickly as possible in order of receipt of enquiries.
Now the world is getting back to normality slowly we are finding that volumes of enquiries from our customers are returning to more normal levels and are now able to respond to customers over the telephone and the other communication channels we offer.
I do apologise if this has caused you some frustration when you were trying to contact us regarding your shipment but going forward you should now be able to contact us via your preferred communication method.

There was an error from DHL and you did not stand with me or inquire about the matter and made me responsible. I apologize, as I have dealt with companies that supported me in situations like this.

I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered some issues with your DHL shipment, I know this must have been very frustrating for you and that you feel we haven't provided you the level of support you would expect from our company.
Although we do our very best to communicate with the couriers, we are dealing directly with the UK branch and the courier themselves speak with their counterparts in the receiving country. From time to time due to time differences communciation breaks down with no fault of ours and we are unable to resolve the issue.
I will however speak with the agent who dealt with your query to see how we can help you further on this issue and they will be in touch with you on Monday.
I see that you have now chosen a different courier for shipping your goods and they have now arrived safely.
I hope this helps and you will consider using our services again in the future.
