The staff of Forward2me took it upon themselves to label items that I was trans-shipping as "Dangerous Goods", and it took them a full two-weeks to un-do that mistake. I was trans-shipping a motor and an air conditioning drier, both of which were shipped to Forward2me by reputable UK vendors as "Standard" freight. Why Forward2me re-classified the package, I have no idea, but it was a BIG mistake.

I found Forward2me thru a Google search when I realized an item I wanted to order from the Netherlands could not be shipped directly to the US. Signing up was really easy and once I had an Forward2me address, I was ready to use the service. Everything went really smooth. I ordered online and my package was shipped to the Forward2me address. Once there, I received almost daily updates that showed my package status. Each step of the way I was kept informed and that made me feel positive about the experience. My package was delivered in perfect condition. I will definitely be using Forward2me again and recommend it to everyone. Thanks!

I love that this service is available. I've used it multiple times over the years. This most recent time their instructions were very unclear to start with but after asking for clarification they were very helpful and we got things sorted. It took a few weeks to get things ready when it normally takes 1-4 days and there was no update during this time but otherwise things have always been great. Things get shipped quickly when it's done right and while it's pricey, it's worth it to me. I do wish they would not use Fed Ex but options are limited.

A certain carrier decided, mid trip, that they couldn’t deliver my order. It was already paid for and the import fees were paid to the carrier. F2M retrieved the package, checked that nothing was damaged, and sent it on with no delay or hassle. The actual service was good, but there should be better information about how the EU calculates customs and VAT. With the current system, the VAT and customs fees are not only based on the goods value, but also the shipping cost. You should give your customers a hint of this fact, so that they can choose to reduce the declared goods value accordingly (at their own risk of course).
