The customer service itself is fine - the business model is broken. What a nightmare I've had. Their website features a video of someone doing a Sainsbury's order by way of example. I did the same, guess what, was told they don't send groceries to Spain after I'd ordered. This was after chasing them of a few weeks silence (their correspondence was hitting the junk mailbox). Then there are hidden supermarket costs to add, plus VAT which is not mentioned. Other packages could not be delivered to Ibiza where I live. So I negotiated to have the lot redelivered to a local address in London. The fees were HUGE! The parcel went missing. I spent days waiting for DHL who eventually turned up at 7pm one night, the bottles hadn't been packed properly, the whole consignment was sticky (ginger beer on books - nice). And the quote to send one small TEN GRAM package to Spain came in at £25. It's cheaper for me to have the package disposed - as even the RTS option had - guess what - a hidden processing fee. Liga on the phone was very nice and returned every call and email promptly... but I will NEVER, EVER use this service again having spent around £100 and getting headaches, stale food, lost days in London and sticky books as a net result.

It would seem there are a number of things we could have done better. Stating that we could not ship foodstuff to Spain was incorrect and it we appear we could have done a better job of packaging your goods, I'm truly sorry for both occurrences. In respect to charges, we certainly don't intend to hide anything, the admins fees partly cover our costs and the VAT is unavoidable.<br/>I do hope you will consider giving us a second chance to prove how good the service can be. This service is excellent. Though initially making payment was tough because of popular belief that my country Nigeria is full of bad people. My son wanted a certain jacket for Christmas and all US stores were sold out. I found the jacket online in the UK but the supplier didn't ship to the US. forward2me solved my dilemma. Signing up was quick and easy. Communication was excellent all the way to delivery at my doorstep. Shipping was fast and Pricing was very reasonable! I will definitely use forward2me again. A+++

Great service for EU items that won't ship to the USA. The only suggestion for streamlining the service is to pre-declare customs duties, such that items don't require repackaging.

a) There should be more options for shipping... we don't always need things in 4 days or less.. the weight also seemed over the top. I had a small box shipped for 34pounds. BUt all of that was upfront and I accepted it, although I don't think the measurements and fees were accurate.
b) my main concern is the additional fees, fine... i get it duty, but if you are charging me duty, you darn well better enclose a copy of my receipt from CBSA, but what is in fact criminal, is an additional brokerage fee.
I get that forward2me is not the one who responsible for these fees, but they know who they are forcing upon us and could choose not to use such carriers.

Forward2me handled everything perfectly.

However DHL messed it up,

Apparently DHL couldn't find my contact information (which Forward2me had provided clearly) and it took a week for DHL to contact me via Forward2me & then they sent the shipment to wrong location. I had to go to DHL office to collect it.

I was very glad to come across this service because Amazon.co.uk does not ship electronics to Finland. Forward2me provides detailed and clear instructions on their site on how to order from British online retailers and use the delivery UK address forward2me assigns to your name at registration.
