Other forwarders are much cheaper and their websites are much friendlier

Many thanks for your feedback, we really do value it.<br/><br/>I’ve investigated what we charged you. I can see that we received a book and some biscuits in two separate parcels. They were repacked into one parcel because we did not have confidence that the original packaging was sufficient to protect them on an air freight journey. Unfortunately this resulted in a greater volume than the original separate boxes. Normally the opposite happens and the volume is reduced, reducing the cost to you. <br/>Although we really had to repack for you I believe it’s possible we might have been able to do it with less volumetric weight. I’m very sorry about that and so as a gesture of goodwill I will arrange to refund you the extra cost over and above the shipping charge for the actual weight and the consolidation charge. That means the charge will be reduced to £44.80 which is less, for example, than our main UK competitor would have charged for shipping you the two separate original packages. We regularly compare our prices to other UK forwarders and believe our prices work out to be cheaper than our UK competitors in practice. I hope you’ll give us another chance.<br/><br/>I’m pleased to say our developers are working hard on improving our website which will make it more user friendly and provide much more functionality and control to our customer. We anticipate releasing this new version in the next month or two. In this case they were very competitive – for example Borderlinx would have charged £85 inc VAT compared to our charge of £33.62 inc VAT for shipping 11kg of volumetric weight from the UK to Greece.<br/>The price you paid includes carefully receiving, storing and repacking your goods to ensuring safe and secure delivery via DHL courier. I tried this site on a lark. Saw something on eBay.uk that I had to have. Seller shipped in UK only. Signed up, got an address, updated eBay with new address. Purchased item, it was shipped, I was informed of receipt then the cost of shipping. Paid by PayPal had it 3 days later. It could NOT have been easier!! Love the service!!

I have used Forward to Me a few times and they have always exceeded expectations--very fast and professional. While international postage is not cheap, I have found that for larger items their prices are as good as vendors in many cases because they pack efficiently for international shipping.

I was very pleased with the service forward2me provided and for a older person who did this for the first time found it very easy and the outcome was very successful the delivery was prompt and for the small fee charged it was good value, I will recommend this service to all my motor bike friends. Thanks again for the great service I certainly will be using this service again as England seems to be the only place in the world where I can get my spare parts for my bike!!!!

The only piece of constructive feedback I would provide is that when they offer consolidated purchases, it would be good if they could remove items from their original boxes and package together to save on international shipping.

Many thanks for your positive feedback, our customer’s experience of our service is very important to us.<br/><br/>When consolidating our team always, where possible, try to reduce the shipping cost to the customer, including removing items from their original packaging and repackaging into smaller boxes to save on space.<br/><br/>In some cases, we will make the decision to keep items in their original box. For example, when receiving designer goods, the attractive packaging provided by the retailer are almost as important as the items themselves, and so are always best left as they are. <br/>This is also sometimes the case for fragile goods that could be at risk of damage if removed from their original packaging.<br/><br/>However we always welcome customers suggestions and if you have a preference when it comes to the receiving and repackaging of your goods, then please don’t hesitate to contact a member of our friendly customer service team, who are always more than happy to assist.<br/><br/>Can I thank you again for taking the time to share your experience with us.<br/><br/>Kind Regards <br/>Richard Baker
