We're pleased to hear that you were happy with the speed your shipment was received in however the cost of shipping was more than expected.
Unfortunately shipping costs are not calculated on the value of the goods but on the amount of space the shipment takes up in transit.
I see that you did not take advantage of our combine and repack service which may have been beneficial to you.
This service is aimed at reducing the size of the parcel as much as possible so you obtain the maximum value for shipping.

It is not clear as it is personal shipment. I don't plan to use the service again is UPS is used.

The shipping fee paid to forward2me including the use of the address, the acceptance and processing of your package and all export paperwork required for shipping, I'm afraid the fee paid does not include import duties and taxes levied on import to your country.
Import duty and taxes are calculated according to your local customs laws and the amount paid if anything will depend on the type of goods imported and their value. This doesn't usually relate to the courier service used and would apply across the board whichever courier is used.

I have checked your shipment details and see that the volumetric weight of your goods ( the amount of space taken up in transit) was higher than the actual weight and that you did not take advantage of our combine and repack service.
Our combine and repack service is offered to help reduce the size of the overall package size to help obtain the maximum value for shipping and reduce the cost of shipping.

I have checked the communication you had sent over regarding the item received to your forward2me address and unfortunately from the link you provided, I can see that due to the item being pressurised we were unable to ship the goods to your country.
Please be assured that we have a number of employees that are trained in the shipping of Dangerous goods and the agent you spoke to via email is very experienced in the identification of dangerous goods.
I'm sorry that you were not aware of this before shipping the item to your forward2me address.
Going forward if you would like to contact us before the purchase of these type of goods we can then verify if we are able to ship them to your country.

I see that when you shipped with us that you did not take advantage of our combine and repack service which may have reduced your package in size before shipping and therefore reduced the overall shipping cost.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received the expected level of service from forward2me on your latest shipment and there was a misunderstanding regarding the identification of your package. Due to recent growth within the business we have increased our staffing levels however it does take time to train new employees. The identification of dangerous goods comes with experience and although we are training our staff as quickly as possible human error does happen from time to time.
I hope that this experience will not put you off using our services again in the future.
