Combine and Repack lets you consolidate multiple parcels and reduce wasted space before shipping. Choosing the right option balances the safety of your items against the total cost of your shipment, so you only pay for the level of packaging you actually need.
There are two options.
Repack for Safety
Best for high-value electronics, fragile glassware, collectibles, and items intended for resale. Because additional protective materials may be used, Repack for Safety may result in a larger parcel and potentially higher shipping costs.
- Minimizes movement – we add internal bracing and cushioning to stop heavy or delicate items shifting during air transit.
- Keeps original branding – we keep the manufacturer's product box (such as the original Apple or Sony box) intact, and discard only the oversized retailer shipping box (such as the Amazon or Walmart outer box).
- Easier claims – we recommend pairing this with our Protect+ guarantee. If an item arrives damaged and you've chosen Repack for Safety, having documented packing standards may help support the claims process, subject to the terms and conditions of the guarantee.
Repack for Saving
Best for clothing, soft goods, shoes, and non-fragile household items.
- Reduces volumetric weight – we remove unnecessary cardboard and empty space to lower the box dimensions, which can significantly cut your shipping cost.
- Maximum consolidation – we fit as many items as possible into the fewest boxes.
- Discards outer packaging – we discard the retailer's outer box, and may also discard manufacturer packaging (such as shoe boxes or plastic display shells) if it helps reduce parcel size.

A note on shipping to the European Union
New EU packaging rules (PPWR) limit the amount of empty space allowed in a parcel. Both repack options are designed to help you meet these rules while avoiding the surcharges couriers may apply to oversized, under-filled boxes. For more detail, see our guide to the EU packaging changes.
