Unknown Shipment Details
Many thanks for your feedback. I’ve looked into this case and I can understand your frustration at the discrepancy between the price given from the online calculator to the actual price for your shipment. I’d firstly like to assure you that we are not trying to deceive anyone with our online calculator and with smaller packages it is very accurate and provides a true reflection on the price you can expect to pay. Unfortunately we cannot factor in everything for larger items such as having to ship on a pallet or the requirement of additional packaging for protecting the item in transit. We are driven to provide our customers with the cheapest shipping service we can but at the same time we will never compromise on trying our utmost in ensuring goods are delivered in the same condition we receive them.

In this case at 40 kg and due to its’s volume the item had to be shipped on a pallet and handled with mechanical means. Your delivery driver may have had the forearms and biceps of Popeye but for your average person trying to lift that kind of weight and size of item is just not good practice.

Had no problems with ordering and forwarding the package! Would wish the delivery would be a little bit cheaper - but I hit exactly 2 KG package that was a little bit more expensive than less than 2 KG, so yeah. Otherwise, all the experience was just a pleasure!

They have done exactly what they offer: a UK adress with which you can buy in webs like Amazon.co.uk products that they don´t send to your country. Forward2me sent me my bought product in good conditions and quickly. The only problem is not their fault: sendind a package abroad in not cheap.

Seeing as the mistake has been on our part we would like to refund you the difference in the shipping costs between the DHL and UPS service and will ensure that the refund is actioned today.

The delivery itself was good but there are multiple issues.
1. I was provided one quote for the delivery and I clearly communicated the preferred service type. Subsequently the service counter just went on and issues an invoice for a more expensive service.
2. Wanted to ship to a friend but can't change the country.. really?

The entire process from initial registration to the collection, notification and eventual shipment went very smoothly. The setup is very professional done and all the details that need to be known are put out there to see and there's even the occasional cost-saving advice that is thrown in (which is greatly appreciated). My parcel was received in good order and the shipment price was reasonable (you can choose your carrier). Great service & highly recommended!

Positives: good speed returning questions by email and my oven came quickly.
Negative: the online calculator estimated my 40 kg oven (just 88 pounds for those of us in the states) would cost around $200 to ship to me. This was with actual dimensions and everything. Imagine my dismay when I purchased the oven and was given a quote over $1000! Or for $750 the option to drive four hours to pick it up from an international airport. What was I to do? I emailed again and asked them to recheck the weight and dimensions because the company I bought it from insisted they were right. Returning it would have been even more international hoops to jump through and I couldn't just leave it there. Forward2me told me the oven was too large and had to be shipped on a pallet! When it came, laughingly, the average sized delivery man unloaded the whole thing into my yard with his bare hands, by himself, with the pallet attached. It simply wasn't heavy. I can't speak for shipping smaller items, but this was in no way large. It seems like piracy.
