myGermany Transition to forward2me – A Service Update
In December 2025, myGermany began the process of closing its operations. forward2me has acquired selected assets of myGermany and is integrating myGermany’s parcel forwarding services into the forward2me platform.
This ensures that customers who previously relied on myGermany can continue forwarding parcels from Germany, now through forward2me.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
All parcels shipped to the myGermany address are currently stored securely and safely during the transition to forward2me. Any delays customers may experience are solely due to the careful transfer of parcels between the myGermany facility and the forward2me warehouse.
No parcels are lost or at risk, and all shipments will be processed and dispatched as quickly as possible. To help avoid delays, customers are strongly encouraged to begin using their free forward2me account and new forwarding address. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.

What’s Been Happening Since December
Since the transition began on December 19, forward2me has been working to ensure a structured and secure experience for all customers:
- All myGermany customers have been emailed a new German forwarding address provided by forward2me.
- All myGermany customer accounts have been automatically migrated to forward2me. Customers only need to create a new password to start using their forward2me account.
- All shipments stored at the myGermany warehouse for less than 180 days prior to December 19 are in the process of being transferred to the forward2me facility, where they will be processed and shipped.
- Parcel transfers began on January 5, 2026, and are being handled securely and carefully.
If you’re experiencing delays, please rest assured that all parcels are stored securely and are being processed systematically during this transition.
Using Your Addresses During the Transition
- The myGermany address can be used until March 31, 2026, though customers are strongly encouraged to use their forward2me address for faster processing.
- Using your forward2me address helps avoid delays caused by transfers between facilities and system limitations on the myGermany platform.
- Your forward2me account also allows you to request shipment processing, photos, and parcel consolidation.
Parcels sent to the myGermany address will continue to be processed as quickly and securely as possible.
No action is required unless you are contacted directly. forward2me is working through all parcels in a structured and secure manner.
How to Start Using Your forward2me Account
- New customers: Register for a free forward2me account.
- Existing myGermany customers: Use the email link provided to create a new password and begin using your forward2me account. You can also send your first shipment to your forward2me address; this will start the migration process for you.
- Get a discount on your first shipment: use code MYGWELCOME20 when creating your first shipment with forward2me for 20% off. Valid until March 31, 2026.
