I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the cost of using our service. The cost of shipping does include the use of the address, the acceptance, processing, storage of your parcel until you ship, preparation of the goods for shipping and all export paperwork required for customs clearance.
We offer a service rather than sell a product, many retailers who sell their own products offer shipping at a very low rate as they cover their costs on the sale of the product and often sell shipping at cost or even a loss in some cases. I'm afraid we are not in a position to offer these rates as we are not offering a like for like service.
I have also noticed that your shipment includes some items which are classed as dangerous goods. When shipping these type of products due to additional paperwork being required and security checks, the courier adds a surcharge on top of the usual shipping fee. This fee is simply passed on to the customer, we do not add any kind of margin although these kind of shipments also take more time to prepare and label for shipping.
I hope this helps explain what is included in the fee paid to foward2me and the reason why your costs may have been a little higher than usual on this occasion. If you wish to check if any goods you are looking to purchase are classed as dangerous goods going forward please feel free to contact our Customer Service team and they will be happy to advise you of any restrictions or extra charges that would be applied for shipping.

Great service. Definitely more expensive than what I thought. Would recommend if absolutely necessary but definitely costly. The box also came in squashed. If it was shipped in a plastic bag mailer vs. the box could have shipped at a cheaper rate & avoid that problem.

They didn't have a recipient name on the package so it was extra complicated with customs and we had to make additional payment to the customs to change the related documents.

Difficult to have requests processed in a timely manner. Restrictions regarding dual use items seem not to be really understood (ITAR vs EU regulations, scope of these regulations -> export within or out of EU, etc..), clearance is really time consuming (same requests by Forward2me staff made several times, same items cleared without problem one day, and causing problems the other one).

We are working on new communciation systems so we can get answers quicker for our customers so hopefully in the coming year communication will be speedier.

The repacking/consolidation was done poorly. The hangers of the dresses drilled into the clothes during transportation. A little more common sense during repacking would be appreciated because also dresses can break during transportation this way.
