Once they inform me that there are some duties to be paid on a package and after that noone knows to help me. They give me a DHL package number which doesnt exist and i just need to wait!

Hi Antonia,Many thanks for your response.I have checked our previous email correspondence with you and I can see that your packages stated different waybills and you confirmed duties paid in relation to package#1597850503683845, from the same retailer We were only able to release package#1597850503683845 off hold from your account for onward shipping, for duties settled, until you/we could further verify if there was any outstanding duties owed for the other package with waybill#1118073504. We have checked our daily post and we have not yet received a corresponding duty invoice for your package with WB#1118073504. Did you manage to query any duties owing for this package with DHL? Duty invoices, are usually processed and sent to us within 10 days from the date of confirmed delivery for the package. As this is the 10th day since this package was delivered to us, with DHL, we can presume that there are no additional duties owing for this package, with DHL, from the same seller and we have released this package off hold and this will be showing back in your main inbox ready to process for shipping as and when required. Upon agreement, by you, that if we should receive further notice from DHL in relation to package#1597759023483893 showing waybill #1118073504, regarding outstanding duties, that you would agree to settle these duties.We apologize for any unnecessary delay or inconvenience this may have caused you on this occasion.I hope this response is acceptable for you and we hope you will reconsider your rating in relation to our services.Kind RegardsHayley

I can understand and accept whatever you wrote and I believe our so far cooperation states that.
First time i ordered something from non EU and DHL communicated with me to pay the duty. You never asked me if i want it to be paid by yourself and I reimburse. Honestly i didnt know this service is offered by your end
In addition to the above, I received another package which noone communicated with me for any duties unpaid so to pay, as i never denied or had an issue with paying.
My complaint was that the DHL number you provided me with is not valid, noone communicated with me asking me to pay but my package is still on hold.

We do clearly state clearly in our terms of trade, from our website, (section 3.11);
In the event that we agree to take delivery of Goods arriving from outside the European Union there may be import duty, VAT and other fees payable to the delivering courier and UK authorities. You authorise us to pay such duties, taxes and fees on your behalf and agree that you will reimburse us immediately for all such costs upon presentation of our invoice for the same. We are not, however, obliged to pay such sums on your behalf.
If you make an order for an item from outside the EU then the package may incur additional import/custom charges on it entering into the UK, depending on the item and its declared value. We would receive an import/custom charge notice for your account name to our address stating the required import/ custom charge for the package. For certain courier services, this fee would require settling before the package can be approved for onward delivery to your forwarding address. The outstanding fee would require settling by you as the true receiver/shipper of the goods. If the courier services approve the package for delivery to our forwarding address before the outstanding fee was settled then we would are required to put the package on hold until the relevant import/custom charge was confirmed and paid before you would be allowed to process the package for onward shipping.
We try our best to assist customers with verifying the relevant import duties owing for their packages, with the couriers, as quickly and as efficiently as possible and to ensure that customers do not experience any unnecessary delays for onward shipping their goods. We can only provide information to customers, regarding import duties for packages, as quickly as we receive this information from the stated courier service.
We apologize for any unnecessary delay or inconvenience this may have caused you on this occasion.

Thank you for the detail, however my experience differs. The process to upload documents was not clear or well explained. Alternative providers were cheaper so I encourage others to validate the actual shipping cost before the initial purchase. I would suggest you also review your levels of transparency and clarity on your coatings as I do not believe this is as clear as you suggest, and forms the basis for my review along with my experience of your excessive shipping costs.

Hi there,Many thanks for your comments.We appreciate all customer feedback regarding our services.We are sorry to hear this.Our shipping rates from our UK warehouse are more competitive for international shipping, more than our newly established warehouses such as Germany, Guernsey and Japan. This is currently due to the volume of packages we receive to the new warehouses not yet being high enough to get a variable rate or other alternative courier options for international shipping, besides the DHL courier services. Our new warehouses are only just becoming established within our services. This information is clearly stated from all of your available, external warehouse inboxes from your account.We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.In regards to purchase documents requested for GST. The documents you were requested to upload are the relevant proof of purchases for the goods in the stated packages that you required to ship. This is how our system works out the relevant Australian GST (Goods and Service Tax) which we are instructed to pass on to the Australian government for every shipment we send to Australia, through our company, with a total declared value of less than $1000 AUD. This company stands by their word when they say most international packages arrive within a few days. I ordered an item from the UK to be shipped to the US during the end of the week. The package arrived at my house only 3 business days later! Forward2me was actually faster than my Amazon package that I ordered on the same day, it was crazy. They are a little expensive but you can ask them to repackage your items into a single, more affordable shipping box. Wonderful service.

I had used Forward2Me Germany warehouse service twice lately. The parcel turnaround time was excellent, less than 24 hours upon its arrival at their Merseburg warehouse. They sent all my orders on DHL Worldwide, which is truly world class.
The only hiccup was when I first signed up, the submission of personal identification was regrettable badly handled by their system. It was an obvious system bug. Fortunately, Chris Jones was very helpful when I called up their Preston Centre.
Overall experience was good. The service corresponds with the price paid.

The service was good the have combined all the good in package and been forwarded in three days which excellent efforts however the shipment by the other courier stay in my country 4 days to reach my home one other thing is the price of shipment of 8 kg is expensive

I'm from the US. I was considering bidding on whisky auction, so I searched for forwarders that could help. I emailed Forward2me and they claimed they could forward a shipment of alcohol to the US. I bid, won, and forwarded the shipment. When I was going to forward the shipment, I was told by support that they can't ship alcohol. I had forward2me forward to another shipping forwarder that could help me. One incorrect answer ended up causing several weeks of delay and costing me extra tens of (maybe a hundred?) pounds in duties and shipping fees. Obviously a terrible experience and I will never make any purchases that require a shipping forwarder again.

I see that you used the UK Tax Free address, this address is most beneificial when purchasing high value goods where the retailer will sell the goods with vat deducted for delivery to this address.
The cost of shipping is generally a little higher than our UK mainland address however customers buying high value tech products and designer goods tend to make a higher saving on the vat reduction which counteracts the shipping costs paid from this address.
I see that the goods you shipped to this address were quite low value so it may have been more cost effective on this occasion to ship the goods to the UK mainland address where we have more courier options for shipping. At present we only offer a premium door to door service with DHL from this address.

Our warehouse team will pick all your parcels when the request is received and repack them as efficiently as possible for international transit to ensure they are safe and the customer obtains the maximum value for shipping.
We do not like to repack goods without the customers permission in case the outer packaging is required, some customer prefer to receive their parcels in the state they have arrived to us.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy that we are only able to offer shipping via DHL from the Tax Free warehouse, this is quite a new facility and still in its early stages therefore we need to build up the offering for shipping from this address.
We are looking to increase the offering from this facility in time and have more options available for our customers.
This address is primarily for the use of high value merchanise where a good saving can be made on the refund of vat on the purchase, this therefore counteracts the slightly higher price in shipping. The cost of shipping is way more expensive than sending it directly with the shipping company. I understand there need to be a markup to cover additional cost but this seems to be over inflated.
