It was fast but the shipping cost was expensive than I thought. The product I bought was only GBP53.99 but the shpping was GBP126.71. It's ok to arrive late, so I think it would be nice if I could choose a cheap fare.

A warning would have been useful about the huge costs involved with getting my parcel released by the customs authority at this end.
It seems there are certain value thresholds below which there’s a cost exemption, if I had known that then I could have made other arrangements.

We understand that there have been many changes due to the UK leaving the EU at the beginning of this year and that this has increased costs for importing goods into the EU from the UK.
We take on board your comments and will certainly look at making sure our customers are more aware of the costs that could be involved with importing to the EU from the UK going forward.
We are currently in the process of opening a new dedicated address in Germany where our customers can shop within Germany and deliver to other EU countries without extra customs charges and taxes. I hope this address will be of interest to you once it is available to our customers.

Without any legal justification and despite my protestations refused to forward to me my goods. Was extremely frustrating and caused a birthday present to be missed. Instead of actually answering my questions the persons would trot out the same scripted answers - there was a complete lack of interest in actually answering my queries. Then suddenly out of the blue they decide to release the goods without an apology. Ridiculous experience

The company got my package and updated quickly. Informed me of next steps and suggested insurance on it. Quickly got it shipped out from the location provided. My package arrived from the UK to US faster than from Texas to Florida in the same country from the US site with is their "home" site. Amazing! Also very fast response when emailed with a question.

Very easy website to use. I attached my invoice and paid my postage very quickly. The packaging was extremely well done. Very delicate and expensive glassware was wrapped securely. I have no worries now about buying fragile items and sending them around the world (UK to Australia). Delivery was unbelievably quick.

Couriers calculate shipping fees are calculated on the amount of space that the shipment takes up in transit for air shipments, this is called the volumetric weight. It is only when the actual weight of the package is higher than the volumetric weight that this would be taken into account. I see for this shipment that although the weight of the parcel was less than a kg, the actual volume would be calcuated on the volumetric weight of 2 kg.
When shipping domestically in the UK couriers generally charge shipping on the actual weight so we tend to find that they place small items in larger boxes when shipping, this is why we introduced our combine and repack service. This enables the customer to request our warehouse to evaluate if it is possible to reduce the size of the overall parcel to ensure that you obtain the maximum value for shipping. I see that you did not take advantage of this service when you shipped your goods.
Many of our customers do choose to purchase a number of items and have them delivered to their forward2me address then combine and repack them together for shipping. This can also be an option to offer value for shipping.
I hope you will consider using our services again and these suggestions may help going forward.
