Poor. My DHL package came with boxes torn and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Will likely look for another option.

I'm sorry to hear that you have received your footwear and the shoe box was damaged however this appears to be general wear and tear of the box during transit and the couriers would not accept a claim for damages of this kind. They only tend accept liability when there is clear damage to the outside of the shipping box and the goods inside are damaged, this wasn't the case on this occasion, it was only the box that was damaged.
I have noticed that you did not take advantage of our combine and repack service, this option is not only to help reduce overall volume but to also ensure the goods are fully protected for international shipping, the goods would be repacked in a stronger box and you all obtain the maximum value for shipping.
I do apologise that we couldn't help you with the claim on this occasion, I know this must have been very disappointing. I hope you will consider using our services again in the future and maybe try the combine and repack option.

They answer their emails and work to get your package out the door and into your hands. Website is reasonably easy to navigate. Pay attention to the fact that their low-cost non-trackable shipping method is only available for shipments which cost less than 20 GBP (roughly 25 USD). If you're shipping, say, a 4.5kg (10 lb) package from the UK to the US, their DHL option is the cheapest, and it will cost you around 40 GBP (@52 USD). This includes a 10 GBP (13 USD) premium, which is their profit. Pretty reasonable in my opinion.

i placed a personal shopping order on a UK website to be shipped to me in australia and there were a few hiccups with the communication of the requirements for the GST, which was confusing and slowed things day - example i was asked to provide the receipt details, which i didn't have because the order was placed by forward2me.

Since the introduction of GST by the Australian Government for the import of lower value goods into Australia we are obliged to ask our customers to upload a copy of their purchase confirmation for the goods we are shipping to us. I do understand this may have been a little confusing for the package containing the goods purchased via our Personal Shopper service. For this kind of purchase you would need to upload the invoice received from forward2me seeing as we have purchased the goods directly from the supplier on your behalf.
I hope this helps explain the process going forward however please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service team at info@forward2me.com if you require any further clarification on this process.
