I have been using this service for almost a year. In the beginning I had some issues with their services, but I brought my concerns to their attention and since then I’ve had a completely different experience. I am beyond impressed with the customer service I’ve received and have been blown away at the work they’ve put in to improving my experience with their company. I think they are very dedicated to their customers and I highly recommend using this company.

I'm sorry that you are unhappy with our services, I see that you have had two successful shipments with us from both the UK and Germany however the latest package you received contained an item that is prohibited for international shipping.
Please accept my sincere apologies that we are unable to ship this item internationally, as a company we have an obligation to follow the rules and regulations of our couriers and international law, unfortunately this type of item is prohibited on the courier network.
I have asked one of the Customer Experience team to contact to you today, forward2me are more than happy to arrange for the item to be returned to the retailer free of charge so you can obtain a refund.

Due to the current worldwide pandemic, our couriers have added additional surcharges to cover the extra costs they are currently experiencing, this means the price for international shipping is a little higher than it normally would be.
Many of the budget services that couriers offer have also been unavailable due to lack of air freight space however shipping is slowly getting back to normal and hopefully more economy services available in the coming months.
I hope this helps explain the current climate in shipping however if you ever feel that you are not getting value for shipping please contact our Customer Experience team at info@forward2me.com and they will check that everything has been done to provide you with the best price possible.

I'm sorry to hear that the cost for shipping on the pricing page did not match your final shipping costs. I have tested the pricing tool myself entering the weight and dimensions of your shipment and the price I see does seem to match the amount you have paid.
It is really important to ensure that you enter the weight of your parcel and the dimensions so that you receive an accurate price for shipping. Couriers tend to calculate the cost of shipping on the amount of space the shipment takes up which is called the volumetric weight. Shipping costs would only be calculated on the actual weight if this is higher than the actual weight of the parcel.
I see that your parcel weighed approximately 2 kg however the volumetric weight was just under 9 kg. Therefore the shipping costs would have been calculated on the higher 9 kg. If for any reason the dimensions of your parcel were not entered into the pricing tool when the quote was submitted the correct shipping price would not have shown.
I have contacted you via email to provide you with a screen shot of what I am seeing on the pricing page and to ask for more details, hopefully I can then establish what went wrong and why you saw a different shipping price initially.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the price for shipping, I can see that the item you have shipped was low in value and I can understand that the price paid for shipping seems high compared to this value of the goods. However values are not taken into account when shipping rates are calculated and with shipments forwarded by air the the cost of shipping is generally calculated by the amount of space that your shipment occupies, rather than the actual weight. This is called the volumetric weight.
All couriers including DHL use the volumetric weight to calculate their shipping prices. It is only if the actual weight is more than this volumetric weight then the shipping price is calculated using this actual weight.
Please be assured that we work with our couriers on a regular basis to ensure that the shipping prices we offer are as cost effective as possible however please also take into account that the price paid includes the service you receive from forward2me.
I do understand that some larger retailer are able to offer shipping at a much lower price however they have the opportunity to incorporate the cost of shipping within their selling price, we do not have this option seeing as we are only offering a service. Our service includes use of the address, the acceptance, processing, storing and preparation of your goods for dispatch including any export paperwork required for shipping.
Many of our customers take advantage of our 30 days free storage period and purchase a number of orders from different retailers, then combine them into one shipment to ensure that they receive the maximum value for shipping.

Cant complain of the actual service BUT I would have loved a cheaper postal option.i.e. like normal mail sign for delivery service for small letter/documents I ended up paying much more postage and clearance fees then the cost of the item !

We take on board your comments, shipping prices have increased in the past year due to most couriers adding extra surcharges to cover the operational costs involved with the pandemic situation. Hopefully these will be dropped in the coming year.
For the identification of your parcels, I understand this is very difficult seeing that they are all very similar items and many of them don't have tracking numbers on them.
I will speak with the warehouse manager to see if there is any other way we can add information to help make identification easier for you. forward2me are currently working on a process where customers can upload their invoices prior to the goods arriving with us, the invoice would then be matched to the items as they arrive with us. We are hoping to have this functionality live in the coming months which will hopefully help your situation.
