Forward2me handlet my oversized parcel. It was shipped from the UK to Denmark after Brexit. Forward2me did all the Customs export papers.

We're sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the additional charges you have paid, I'm thinking that these are relating to import duty and vat since you are based within the EU.
Since Brexit at the beginning of this year all goods imported from the Uk to an EU country could be liable for vat and over 150 euros liable for import duties.
We do state clearly on our terms of trade that we ship goods as delivery duty unpaid and our charges do not include any import duty and taxes, these are charged in the receiving country if applicable and payable by the receiver.
We know this has meant a major change, before January 2021 all goods were in free ciruculation within the EU including the EU so they did need to go through customs clearance.
For this reason we have now opened a warehouse facility in Germany where customers within the EU can source goods within the EU and have them shipped to Germany for onward shipping without the need for payment of duty and taxes.
We hope this option will work for you going forward and if you require any further information relating to import duty and taxes if you are shipping from the UK please feel free to contact our Customer Service Team and they will be very happy to assist you.

One of the packs containing Marillion - Fugazi album was confirmed by you to be received to e-bay seller "chickenlove" (I saw the confirmation sent by you to him). Nevertheless the album disappeared and didn't arrive to Romania. I will reuse your services if I receive a proper explanation and compensation. (a moral one you can't because I accused chickenlove for fraud). Meanwhile you could decide that the person who answers the phone speaks proper standard English and not Cockney. Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry that you are disappointed with the service offered by forward2me, £2 is our standard repack fee for every parcel. When a customer requests this service, all packages in the request need to be picked from the warehouse and then repacked in new packaging, this process takes some time hence the fee for repacking.
The repacking service is aimed to both reduce volume if possible and ensure the goods are safe and secure for international shipping, unfortunately we can't always reduce volume to save on shipping costs which was the case on this occasion. You do however have the added benefit that the goods are securely packaged for transit due to their fragility.
With regards to the missing album, we have doubled checked the tracking details you have provided and they appear correct however the contents did not contain an album but some seeds. We suggested that you contact the seller about this as we have no control over the products received from sellers, we do not place the order only receive the goods on your behalf and idenfity the contents of the package.
Please be assured that all our agents have good english, they are all polite and helpful.

The overall experience though is changed post-Brexit as we now have to pay duties that are unknown at the time of shipping. It makes buying in the UK and shipping way less viable unfortunately :-(

I'm sorry to hear that you feel that the service was slow and you were unhappy with the choice and price of courier services at our Japan address.
Japan is a fairly new facility for us and we only have limited courier services at the moment, we are working to have more options for shipping from Japan soon.
We have also found all couriers have increased pricing over the past year due to the pandemic, this is mainly due to increased processing costs to protect their staff and lack of freight space due to limited passenger flights being active at the moment. Many low cost couriers use the space on passenger flights for their services.
I hope you will consider using our service again in the future, we of offer addresses in the UK, Guernsey, Turkey and Germany if you are able to source products from these countries.

I'm pleased to hear that the process went well and you received your goods with no issues however you felt the cost of shipping was more than expected and that you couldn't get through to our Customer Service team to speak to someone.
Every courier we work with has increased their fees one way or another since CV-19. Unfortunately, because forward2me is already very price competitive, we are not in a position to absorb these increases and so we are passing them through to end customers. We are passing them through without markup or profit.
Many of the usual budget services aren't currently available due to the lack of space on passenger flights for freight however as the world slowly opens up again we are hoping that these services will become available and we can once again offer them to our customers.
I have noticed that you shipped your goods as a multi-piece shipment, it may be worth looking at our combine and repack service going forward. If you choose this option, our warehouse team will assess how best to repack your goods and repack them as efficiently as possible for shipping to ensure that you obtain the maximum value for shipping.
I'm sorry that you were unable to reach a customer service representative by phone when you would have liked, due to having a small team we have limited cover on the phone however we do offer multi-channel communication via social media, whatsapp, chat and email as well as contact by phone.
