I see that the parcel you are referring has been shipped from France to our UK warehouse address. Since Brexit any parcels that are imported to the UK from a third country will incur vat charges and sometimes import fees depending on the commodity and the value of the goods.
Our UK address is mainly aimed at customers purchasing goods from within the UK however as a gesture we do accept parcels that are delivered outside of this area. For some delivery companies such as Royal Mail and Parcelforce we are notified before the parcel arrives however with the couriers, such as UPS and DHL they settle the fees upfront to enable the goods to be cleared straight away for the receiver and send the invoice later.
Some couriers can take some weeks to forward the invoices to your forward2me address, once they arrive we contact the customer for payment straight away so we can settle the fee with the courier. I'm sorry we have no control of how long the courier takes to forward the invoice unfortunately.
I'm not sure if you are aware that we do offer our customers an address in Germany, for shipments arriving from the EU it would be much more cost effective to use this address rather than the UK as both France and Germany are within the EU and the goods would not have required import clearance due to there being free trade between EU countries.

Items are well packed and are shipped quickly. Customer service is prompt and helpful. Deducted a star due to the price £2 per item for combining, which I think is excessive.

Also wish that the free storage service period be extended beyond minimum of 30 days.

I do understand that it does take a little longer for alcohol packages to be shipped and that you need to contact our customer services to process this manually for you however due to regulations varying from country to country, we need to check if there are any special requirements for your country before going ahead with shipping.
