forward2Me had great customer service, in assisting me in getting started. They respond quickly, and get orders placed and shipped quickly. I would definitely be unitizing their services for future international orders. Their website and user account side of the site are all very well laid out and easy to use. Been using Forward2Me services from U.K., Germany, Spain & Turkey warehouses all to the U.S. Excellent and convenient customer service each time! Quick response through WhatsApp, consolidating packages is only a few button clicks, and shipping is easy. Only downside is limited shipping carriers at some warehouse locations so the shipping prices might not be the lowest. But for the ease, convenience and timely tracked shipping it more than worth the premium to get your goods delivered.

Hervorragender Kundenservice mit sehr kurzen Antwortzeiten. Schneller Weitertransport (in meinem Fall aus UK) nach Deutschland.
Nur die Versandkosten sind einfach zu hoch, besonders bei Kleinpreisigen Waren.
Denn zu dem Warenwert und den Versandkosten fallen noch Kosten für die Einfuhrumsatzsteuer und vor allem DHL Auslagen an, welches eine Bestellung aus UK nicht gerade preiswert macht.
Bis auf die Versandkosten bin ich mit dem Service von Forward2Meii grundsätzlich zufrieden und würde ihn vermutlich wieder nutzen.

I have checked the details of the package you recently shipped out from our UK warehouse on 10.01.22 and it appears that, the reason why you were provided with the higher shipping costs is because the system has calculated that the chargeable weight that determined the final shipping price for your package was based on the volume/size of your package rather than the actual weight of the goods inside. Most courier services determine the cost of shipping by either the actual weight of the goods or the volumetric weight of the package (size of the package)- whichever is greater. I do believe you would have saved further costs on shipping if you had chose our combine and repack option for your package, prior to shipping, because the actual weight of your goods was 0.98 kg whereas the volumetric weight/size of the package calculated to 3.88 kg and this greater weight is what determined the final shipping price for your package with DHL. Therefore I feel that a combine and repack or reduction service of your package would have been necessary and cost effective for you as there was a sufficient amount of excess and possible unnecessary volume that could have been removed or reduced from your package to decrease the overall volumetric weight/size of your package down further. We do provide further details to assist you with making your decision about whether to repack your goods once you select the package and go through to the 'Combine and Repack' option from your inbox.

However (for UK ⇒ FR shipping):
- How packages were actually forwarded wasn't clear (what actually happens with repacking? Is it a good idea? How much are shipping cost afterwards?);
- Planning for taxes and customs was almost impossible: I was not made aware that the forwarding cost would be included in the "value" declared to customs, hence going over the usual thresholds;
- I couldn't find a way to recover the VAT on the seller side, hence paying for it twice
Overall, unless forward2me provides better help with tax/customs, I'll use it only for small items (<30£).

Hi there,Many thanks for your feedback.We are pleased to heat that you had a great forwarding experience through our service but feel you were not provided with the information required relating to repacking or the onward shipping processes.I have checked your last 2 recent shipments, more so your DHL shipment that was dispatched from our UK warehouse to France on 05.01.22, and I can see both of your packages were not submitted for a repack service prior to shipping.The contents of your packages were containing clothing items which can create a lot of unnecessary volume and a consolidation or repack service can sometimes beneficial for these types of items because even though they create a lot of excess volume, they can be reduced down smaller and they are relatively light in weight. Our combine and repack service option is where we open all of your selected packages and repack your goods into fewer smaller packages. Where the chargeable weight has been determined by the volumetric weight it is sometimes a good idea to combine and repack your items into fewer package to reduce costs and eliminate risk of individual boxes going missing. We do provide information to assist you in making your decision for repacking from your account once you select the combine and repack option from your inbox. I have calculated that you would not have really saved a lot on costs for the overall shipping by combining and repacking your 2 clothing packages into one piece this time round. Firstly because the current shipping rates for within mainland Europe are as a low as they can be with all of the available courier services currently and, although the chargeable weight of your shipment had been determined by the total volumetric weight of your 2 packages, as a multi piece, at 13.15 kg whereas the actual weight of the goods was 6.05 kg, your total cost for shipping would have still calculated close to the same price as it is currently by not consolidating both clothing packages as one piece due to the additional repack fees per package that have been added to your final invoice after the repack was completed. If you had repacked the 2 clothing packages into one piece this would have reduced your shipping costs with the courier slightly but you would have then had additional repack fees per package to pay on top of the original base shipping price which would have then increased the overall shipping costs again. If you order items from UK based retailers you will be required to pay additional purchase VAT 20% for the goods. In order to recover the VAT from the seller side you would need to be able to provide the UK seller evidence that the goods have been internationally shipped. If you are considering purchasing high value goods you might benefit more from using our Tax Free warehouse. All retailers who offer delivery to the Channel Island are not permitted to charge purchase VAT for goods entering Guernsey.It is recommended that you only look to ship higher value goods to this address as shipping options are limited to DHL and can be a little more expensive than shipping from our mainland UK address. It is therefore important that you calculate beforehand that the vat saving on the purchase is higher than the possible increase in shipping costs from this facility compared to shipping from the UK mainland.We are required to show the total shipping costs paid on the commercial invoice. All courier services we use clear shipments through their own customs clearance departments and the clearance team need to be able to access the original shipping price paid to calculate the taxes against and to ensure the couriers do not use default shipping costs. We can remove the courier shipping costs from the commercial invoices by request from our customers, and this option can also be amended yourself by going to your 'Profile' section and 'Addresses'. When you click into your 'Shipping Addresses' there is a check box option at the bottom labelled"Include shipping price on commercial invoice". However, removing this option may mean the couriers will use a default shipping price to calculate the duties and taxes owing which usually calculates higher in value than the actual shipping costs paid. Please be aware that as of 1st July 2021 the import VAT free buffer for shipments into the EU with a total declared value of £15.00/€22 or less no longer applies and all imports are now subject to EU VAT. Local duties and taxes are calculated from the commercial declared value of the goods in the shipment and also on the freight costs.

Poor experience. Lost package, not their fault, but no compensation for the excessive shipping charge, never mind the cost of the lost goods.

Yes the services are quite satisfactory. What i don't like about it is the prices..it is really expensive.. For a 4 kilos package that it was sent to me from Portand, USA insured, delivery within 10 days I paid 75euro. For a similar package sent from Germany uninsured I paid 42 Euro. The insurance costs un additional 25euro. Comprare 75euro from the Pacific Ocean to 67euro from Germany. You can make your own conclusions...
