Response times in all stages were astonishingly quick. The service was quite expensive, but on the other hand couldn't have gotten an Islabike to Finland any cheaper through any other service. Shopping service made my day when Islabike refused international customers due to high domestic demand.

This was an awesome experience :). So I was able to buy an item through eBay that was only available to UK an wouldn't ship to U.S. At first I thought this service would be way over my budget and not up to my standards. I was so wrong thank you so much!!! I now have the item and without this service I couldn't have bid on the item!!! Lol!! Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.<br/><br/>We're pleased that you think that we provide a reasonable service but are concerned that you think that the delivery wasn't the quickest.<br/>We can see from the tracking that your shipment left us late afternoon on 28 May and was signed for by your good self on 4 June at 8.45am. This is classed as 4 working days excluding the despatch and arrival day.<br/>We have also noticed that you are in Tasmania which is classed as an outlying area by DHL which can sometimes mean the transit time is a little longer than normal.<br/>This has also fmeant that DHL applied an out of area charge, hence your shipping invoice being larger than say Central Australia.<br/>We're also sorry that you feel that our service is over priced.<br/>When we sent you your shipping invoice we did put a note asking you to get in touch if you wanted a cheaper method of shipping as we had noticed the value of the item was relatively low.<br/>As we didn't hear anything back we continued with the DHL Express service.<br/>Another customer may say this was good value for money if they were shipping an iPhone valued at £500+ (similar size package to yours). Direct from the retailer. A lot of retailers don't ship overseas/only ship to a number of countries.<br/>2. Having the advantage of using a UK address for just £2 and having the parcel shipped through forward2me.<br/>This means that you can access the UK/European marketplace for things that you wouldn't normally be able to purchase.<br/>As part of this service we store, repack your parcel to reduce volume, prepare the export paperwork and ensure we provide support until the parcel arrives at your door. <br/>We hope this differentiates the charges between a parcel being shipped in the UK and the service that forward2me is offering.<br/><br/><br/>Kind Regards,<br/>Janet.<br/><br/>Janet Grundy<br/>Operations Director.

Many thanks for taking the time to respond - we appreciate your feedback.<br/><br/>We realise that pricing can be a sensitive issue but wanted to try and put this in context for you. <br/>To give you an example, the cost for us to ship say a ladies purse (cost ~ £10)is the same as the cost to ship an Iphone (cost~£500). For most people shipping an Iphone is excellent value for money but in the case of the purse, some customers will decide it's not good value. <br/>Sometimes bulky but light items can give customers the same feeling of the service being expensive but when put in context perhaps isn't. <br/>Again for example the cost of shipping 10 books costing ~£200 could be the same as the cost to ship something light but bulky like cushions, cost~£20. The cushions would take up more room in the aeroplane, although a lot lighter than the books. <br/>In these given situations customers quite often choose to consolidate multiple items into one shipment in order to improve the overall value of shipping. Fundamentally the determination of value is with each customer for each shipment. <br/>As part of the shipping process we open every package to ensure it's legal to ship, generate export paperwork,pay the courier and provide support until the parcel is in your hands.<br/><br/>We're really pleased that you think the services works like a charm.<br/><br/>We hope this all helps and you will continue to use forward2me. <br/>Have a great day. <br/><br/>Kind Regards,<br/>Janet<br/><br/>Janet Grundy<br/>Operations Director.
