The process took a long time, and they kept sending unnecessary emails showing my position in the queue. Receiving so many updates was frustrating. It would have been much better to send a single email confirming that everything was being processed instead of flooding my inbox with constant notifications.

This has been an extremely stressful experience, but the matter is now moving toward resolution.
Forward2me held my television for nearly a week without a substantive response to my emails, web enquiries or WhatsApp messages. During that time I could not request a repack, initiate shipment, or otherwise progress the item through the portal.
After escalation, the situation initially got worse. Forward2me increased the quote to £1,981.21 for pallet shipping to Australia, for the £600 TV, and asked whether I could arrange forklift access at my end! This was after I had sought an individual large-item quote before ordering the television, provided the relevant specifics, and was quoted approximately £800.
There was also confusion about batteries. Forward2me had listed zinc-carbon batteries that were unexpected based on the product information I had seen. It later became clearer that Samsung had supplied two different types of remote control, one of which used ordinary batteries, but that was not clear from the product information available to me when ordering.
Once I had posted the first version of this review, Tracy from Forward2me took carriage of the issue and worked with me to find a workable way forward. They arranged shipment at the original price, included Protect+ Guarantee, and gave me a practical way to deal with the battery issue.
My overall experience was high-friction, protracted, and stressful. The key problem was not only the delay, but the combination of no meaningful response, blocked shipment options, and a sudden major cost escalation after the item was already in Forward2me’s possession. That said, once the case reached the right person, Forward2me did work to fix it.

Right after this happened, Forward2Me acquired myGermany. Now, their support team (Aimee) refuses to issue my refund, claiming that because the incident happened before the acquisition, they only bought the "assets" and are not responsible for past liabilities!
This is a complete corporate scam and a violation of German Law! Their own website footer clearly states they are currently operating in Germany as Forward2me GmbH under the brand "myGermany.com powered by forward2me".
Under German Commercial Code HGB § 25, if you buy a company and continue using its brand name to make money, you are STATUTORILY LIABLE for all debts incurred BEFORE the acquisition. Forward2Me wants to steal myGermany’s customers and brand value but leaves the victims of myGermany’s fraud stranded.
They are using corporate shell games to evade debt. Absolute crooks. Forward2Me, pay back my €5,328.92!
As this matter relates to activity that occurred prior to Forward2Me’s acquisition of MyGermany, it has been escalated internally for full review by our Customer Experience team to our senior management teams. We take all customer concerns seriously and are currently investigating the details you have raised.
While we are reviewing the historical context and the circumstances involved, we are not able to comment on or confirm liability through public channels.

I've used them to forward a package, and to combine/repack multiple smaller orders together and both arrived in a decent amount of time and well packaged - processing time wasn't too bad either overall - don't expect same-day forwarding, but overall, very happy.

I tried to combine and repack my order, but I was given the following message: “This package will need special handling by the courier. A pallet or additional packaging maybe required resulting in additional cost. Please contact customer services for a detailed quotation.”
So via WhatsApp I reached out at 12:35 pm UK time to put the request in and 4 minutes support responded later asked me if I wanted my packages consolidated. Less than a minute later I replied with an affirmative response. And nothing…… Roughly an hour later, I tried to get a confirmation if my request was noticed and was being fulfilled or not and radio silence. I made multiple international calls and was reassured that I’ll be receiving a confirmation soon. 3 hours later nothing. I tried calling again but it was 5 pm UK time and they weren’t receiving calls anymore. So I wrote a long WhatsApp message summarizing my experience and pretty much saying after they essentially wasted the previous day due to misplacing my packages, they couldn’t even bother to put in a request to combine and repack meaning they wasted another working day. That was at 5:22 PM Uk time. At 8:58 PM UK I got a WhatsApp message apologizing for all the delays and saying they got in contact with the consolidation team and they were debating on whether or not the order needed palletization (I was skeptical about it since working days ended at 6 PM UK time) but I let it be.
On the 11th of June after getting no further updates, I reached out via WhatsApp at 11:03 am after both emailing had failed and calling didn’t go through. I got the following response at 11:45 AM : “Hello (insert name here} , thank you for following up. The request has been relayed to our warehouse team and we ask for your patience as we work on this for you. As soon as we receive the assessed pallet/package weight and dimensions, we will coordinate with our partner couriers to obtain the shipping cost.” Then another follow up a minute later. “We'll be in touch shortly.” Then radio silence.
I finally got a hold of customer support on the phone and she reassured me that I’ll get my quote during UK working hours by the end of the day meaning I’d be able pay and then have it be ready to ship on the 12th of June on Friday. I thanked her and ended the call. At 2:01 PM UK time I hadn’t gotten anything so I reached out to them via WhatsApp. Totally ghosted. At 4:13 PM I sent a question mark. Nothing.
So I called internationally again. Now I was being told the they’re finally expediting the process, but realistically I wouldn’t be getting my quote until possibly tomorrow which was a big change from what I’ve been told earlier that day. I ended the call. At 4:30 PM UK time I received the following message on WhatsApp:”Hello {insert name here}, thank you for following up. The request has been relayed to our warehouse team and we ask for your patience as we work on this for you. As soon as we receive the assessed pallet/package weight and dimensions, we will coordinate with our partner couriers to obtain the shipping cost.”
If you didn’t notice it’s an exact copy and paste of the message I had gotten nearly 5 hours prior. I pointed that out 3 minutes later and followed up 3 minutes after that saying that copy paste aside, I was promised an update roughly 5 hours ago and I asked where it was but as usual all I got was radio silence and that’s where things stand at the moment. This is despite me telling them repeatedly over the phone that the reason I was in hurry to ship this is because I’m traveling very soon and I want to get this done as quickly and smoothly as possible.
I had a lot of experience with shipping stuff from overseas (usually from the US), but none of them were as frustrating as this has been. my ID and the Warehouse are : 789420 UK York House. I opened a ticket regarding the matter under the ID of: 593726.
UPDATE (Friday End of Day): Working hours are done in the UK and I was completely ghosted. 48+ hours with no qoute. So their PR below wasn't being truthful or the support that spoke to me yesterday.

I find that explanation impossible to reconcile with the condition in which the packing materials arrived. The financial loss is disappointing, but the sentimental loss is far greater. This was not just another household item; it was something I had searched for over many years to replace a piece connected to cherished family memories. Overall, my latest experience was extremely unsatisfactory.
Having reviewed your case, the package was not flagged for repacking because it needed to be combined with another shipment. It was flagged because the original packaging was assessed by our warehouse team as unsuitable for international transit. In these circumstances, the system requires a repack request before shipping can proceed to help reduce the risk of damage during transportation.

The only complaint is that there is no option for “tax payment”, the UPS company had to call me, with bad connection, to ask for email, and for payments, and for ID photo.
If there was “tax payment” option for forwardvia, then the difficulty would not exist.

USPS international services are only available for shipments originating from the USA, so this would not have been an available option for a UK export shipment. The courier options shown at checkout are based on the shipment route and services available at the time of booking.
Import duties and customs fees are set by the destination country’s customs authorities and unfortunately are outside of our control.

Order showing placed on 21 May but after sending numerous requests for an update as to where my order is have had no replies or updates

Check their policy: forward2me does not allow you to organise/book your own courier for an international shipment. And they only quote FedEx. Check with them if they can find a better quote or last minute service.
