I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy that you did not receive an email notification when your parcel was received to your forward2me account.
<br/>
When a parcel is booked into an account an email notification is automatically sent to the customers registered email address, I'm sorry that this wasn't the case on this occasion.
<br/>
I see that you have contacted us back in February to let us know that you weren't notified of a parcel arriving and we asked if you could check if the email notification had been received into your spam or trash mails however we didn't receive a response to confirm if this was the case or not.

If you would like to check this for us and if you locate the emails in this area add us to your white list hopefully this should resolve the situation.

If not please contact our customer services team at info@forward2me.com to advise them of the non-receipt of the emails and they can investigate this further with our IT department.

I then picked DHL Express, and i got the package next day.
That was pretty impressive!

Positives: good speed returning questions by email and my oven came quickly.
Negative: the online calculator estimated my 40 kg oven (just 88 pounds for those of us in the states) would cost around $200 to ship to me. This was with actual dimensions and everything. Imagine my dismay when I purchased the oven and was given a quote over $1000! Or for $750 the option to drive four hours to pick it up from an international airport. What was I to do? I emailed again and asked them to recheck the weight and dimensions because the company I bought it from insisted they were right. Returning it would have been even more international hoops to jump through and I couldn't just leave it there. Forward2me told me the oven was too large and had to be shipped on a pallet! When it came, laughingly, the average sized delivery man unloaded the whole thing into my yard with his bare hands, by himself, with the pallet attached. It simply wasn't heavy. I can't speak for shipping smaller items, but this was in no way large. It seems like piracy.

In this case at 40 kg and due to its’s volume the item had to be shipped on a pallet and handled with mechanical means. Your delivery driver may have had the forearms and biceps of Popeye but for your average person trying to lift that kind of weight and size of item is just not good practice.
