forward2me provided the service I needed. I wanted something that I could only get with a UK address and I was able to purchase it. Signing up and using the service was easy. The postage rates were as I expected, which was a reasonable amount given it was such an enormous box! Communication was good and I knew when the item was received and then forwarded on to me.

Speedy delivery (delivered on a Sunday which was very convenient for me). The Packaging was also extremely thorough which led to there being 0 damage to my shoe box. There was even a signed card inside it from them. Overall a great experience and I am definitely using them again.

I have used Forward2me.com several times. Their service is prompt and fast. When I contact their customer service, I always get an immediate response. Once (not this time), I had a problem involving unreasonable surcharges charged by the shipping company (not Forward2me itself), and Forward2me gave me a generous discount to compensate for it, even though the problem hadn't been from their end.

On the positive side - the service itself is quick, there's a wide selection of currier services to choose from. Web interface works well, the customer service is also helpful and responsive.
Improvement needed - the packaging quality for big shipments. The warehouse is not prepared with big and sturdy boxes, the original shippment boxes are re-used and they do not provide enough protection for the goods. I suggest to add an option for sturdy packaging (even with a small extra fee), and/or keep inner cardboard boxes to protect the goods. Insurance always covers the damages but it'd be good to avoid the whole procedure.

The service was okay, but the value for the consolidation fees was not good at GBP 2 per package for small single item packages, I did not consider that reassonable. However, since all packages were there, I was committed to complete the process with them. There really needs to be some common sense for consolidation pricing that goes beyond the current simplistic view that a package of 20 plus items equals 1 package with 1 small item. Without that being fixed, I would choose a different service provider.
