The ordering process is very complicated and time consuming.. One needs to be very savvy with computers to be able to steer through the whole process of ordering. Similar services in the USA such as comgateway are so much more simplified and user friendly.

Hi,Thank you for providing us with your feedback however I'm sorry to hear that the goods in this shipment have been damaged. I know that this must be very disappointing for you especially that this was your first shipment with us.I see that my colleague has been in touch with you by email on 13th June to request some further information to submit a claim with the courier UPS however although this was over a week ago you have not responded to the email to provide the information required.I see on this occasion that UPS have admitted they are at fault for this shipment however we do require the requested information as soon as possible so we can submit the claim.Although we do package goods so they are safe and secure for international transit from time to time damages do occur and are out of our control. Once a package has been dispatched from our warehouse we are in the hands of the courier.We look forward to receivng this information soon so we can assist you further and hope this experience hasn't deterred you from using our services again as these kind of instances are very rare.Kind Regards,Tracy.

Very prompt and courteous service - shipping is expensive for 2 small charms but such a wonderful way to buy from overseas when the merchant won't sell to the USA. Hi,Many thanks for sending over your feedback however I'm sorry to hear that you have found our services too expensive.I have taken a look at your shipment with us and can see that you shipped your goods as they had arrived with us, I'm not sure if you are aware that we do offer a combine and repack service to ensure our customers obtain the maximum value for shipping.Shipping fees for overseas shipments from the UK are generally calculated on the amount of space they take up rather than their actual weight (this is called the volumetric weight) this is especially the case when shipping by air, when retailers ship within the UK the shipping fees are often calculated on actual weight so they often ship in standard size boxes which can have lots of space wasted in them.Using the combine and repack service elimiates any wasted space, our team review your packages repack them as tightly and safely as possible for international shipping often reducing the volume (size of the package) to help save on shipping costs.Shipping fees also include the use of your forward2me address, the acceptance, processing, storage and preparation of all export documents for shipping.I hope based on this information you will consider using our services again, if you have any further questions at all please don't hesitate to get in touch with me at info@forward2me.com and I will be happy to assist you.Kind Regards,Tracy.

The customer service is very friendly however the shipping service rates offered are extremely expensive. I have shipped an already assembled adult mountain bike from a supplier (Their business is selling bicycles so not shipping) for a quarter of the cost that forward2me charged me to ship a beanbag that weighed less than 5kgs.

Hi,Many thanks for provding your feedback regarding your recent shipment with us.I'm pleased to hear that our customer service team was very friendly however sorry to hear the cost of shipping your item was more than expected.I have checked the package details and can see that although the parcel did only weigh 5 kg in actual weight the size of the package meant that the actual volume (the amount of space the package takes up in transit) actually worked out to be over 90 kg in volumetric weight. Therefore our couriers actually calculate the shipping fee on the volumetric weight of the parcel not the actual dead weight.For example if we shipped a package containing 10 books weighing 10 kg with a volumetric weight of 5 kg the shipping fee would be charged on the actual weight 10 kg whereas if we shipped a bag of feathers weighing 5 kg however with a volumetric weight of 20 kg the shipping fee would be charged on the volumetric weight in this instance.With regards to comaring the price for shipping with the bicycle company, many retailers sell shipping as a loss leader as they are making their living on selling the goods and do not rely on making money on shipping however our business is shipping so we need to ensure our costs for accepting, processing, storing and dispatching your goods are covered, these services are included within the shipping price charged.I hope this helps explain how our service works and how shipping costs are calculated by our couriers, however if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at info@forward2me.com and I will be happy to answer any further questions you have.Kind Regards,Tracy.
