• Retailer exclusives - these are partnerships where Lego only sells items through one particular retailer. • Employee gifts - As the name suggests, these exclusives aren’t officially for sale. They’re special sets given to employees when they hit certain milestones either as a company or individually. For these you’ll need to keep your eyes on places like Ebay UK.
• “Hard to find” or “rare” sets - These exclusives are primarily ones that had a limited production period or are close to being retired. In some cases it’s simply that the set is an expensive one, so they only make a certain number.
   

There are a number of different Lego stores in the UK. The flagship London store sits pride of place on Leicester square. And, there are a number of sets you’ll only find on sale in this Lego store.

Many UK exclusive Lego sets may not be 100% exclusive. In some cases, they could simply be incredibly rare or were only available for a very limited time in a certain country or local store. A few of these you’ll find on sale in the United Kingdom.

A few of the sets you may only find in the UK include:

• The London Bus - Exclusive to the London store and online. This depicts the quintessential red London double-decker bus.
• Lego Hamleys Exclusive Royal Guard Minifigure - this is a retail exclusive that you can only buy from the toy shop Hamleys!
• Pick a Model Guardsman - This is a build your own figurine of a guardsman from Buckingham Palace
• Lester Minifigure - For a while this British gentleman was one of the hardest Minifigures to get your hands on.
• LEGOLAND Micro Castle - One of a number of sets you’ll only find either at  LEGOLAND park store or online from the LEGOLAND marketplace!
• LEGOLAND Park
• LEGOLAND Driving School
   

There are a number of other sets across Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter, DC Comics, NINJAGO and Creator that count as hard to find. While it’s unlikely that these will be exclusive to the UK, it could well be that you can only find them on UK online stores due to their availability where you live.

So if you’re trying to get your hands on Lego exclusives, what’s the best way to do it? Obviously, if you can simply jump on a plane to the United Kingdom and pop into the Lego store that would be great, but unfortunately we aren’t all made of money.
