Thanks for your feedback, it's appreciated.<br/><br/>Regarding prohibited items, we certainly understand frustrations in this area and we do everything we can to exceed customer expectations but we are not in a position to influence laws and regulations affecting shipment of goods between countries. We are a professional company that operates within the law and so in a small percentage of cases we have to return goods to the retailer or destroy them depending on customer instruction – this generally happens with toner cartridges, batteries and aftershave although we have an explicit list in our terms of trade https://www.forward2me.co m/main-site/terms-of-tra de. Companies that forward these types of items without following the necessary shipping procedures affect everyone by slowing down the transit of appropriately shipped goods and threatening the safety of other people. If you find a company prepared to just put these items in the post it's a sure sign the don't know what they are doing.<br/><br/>Forward2me has 4 people who are accredited to ship dangerous goods so where it is legal to ship such goods we are able to do so. This requires special labelling, packaging and handling and so is at additional cost to us – necessarily we have to pass this on and it may not make sense from the perspective of some customers.<br/><br/>Regarding the cost of the service, we charged a total of £35.50 (£29.67 ex VAT). We understand this can be a sensitive issue however I would like to put it into context. We received 4 separate packages for you, we had to consolidate these into one package and then generate the appropriate export paperwork to accompany the package. We provided a DHL Air Express courier service which was collected from us on Thursday 20th December and with you in Greece on Friday 21st December. Post Office would not be viable for pre-Christmas delivery although we are happy to send via PO where requested. To compare our DHL Air Express price, please take a look at an aggressive parcel delivery service such as Parcel Monkey http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/dhl-worldwide. The same package with them would have cost £41.63 (£49.95 inc VAT) – this is just shipment – no taking receipt of goods, export paperwork, consolidation of goods, etc.<br/><br/>Once again, thanks for taking the time to provide the feedback and wishing you a happy 2013.

delivery in terms of timing was excellent...but....the package had been badly crushed on one side - it was a shoe box with some rather expensive ecco mens shoes - the heel of one shoe was crushed as a result but not to the extent that it could not be coaxed back into shape...very lucky i would say ...shoes are suede and the marking/damage is only slightly noticeable....think the issue is with ECCO in Denmark in respect of the packaging for international destinations...thanks again to F2me for prompt delivery to Perth West Aust
