I am extremely disappointed with this company's deceptive pricing and poor communication.
I used their online calculator with exact dimensions and weight for a KAVU Mini Sling bag and was quoted £10. Once they received the item, they suddenly demanded £45 for the cheapest shipping option—a 350% price increase!
The item itself weighs only 270 grams. They are trying to justify this extortionate fee by claiming a "volumetric weight" of 1.07kg, which is absurd for such a small, lightweight bag. To make matters worse, they have been ignoring my emails and WhatsApp messages for hours/days.
This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic. I feel scammed and held hostage since they already have my package. I will be initiating a chargeback with my credit card company and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this service at all costs. Unprofessional and unfair.

However, when the parcel arrived at our warehouse, the packaging was found to be insufficient for safe international transit. As a result, our team carried out a repack to ensure the item could be shipped safely.
The Lite service does not allow repacked shipments, which is why it was no longer available once the parcel had been assessed and repacked. This is also clearly stated in our pricing page, as Lite relies on original manufacturer or seller packaging being suitable for transit without modification.
We understand this created confusion and frustration regarding the change in available shipping options and pricing, and we are sorry for the lack of clarity in communication at that stage. We also apologise for the delay in responses from our customer service team — this is not the standard we aim to provide, and we will be reviewing this internally.

I ordered an item and requested it to be shipped to me ASAP even with geopolitical tension in the area I live in. Joyce and Wens really surprised me with their support and care . They ensured that my item is dispatched to my destination and then confirmed that item is on its way . They took care of my issue and understood that I was really struggling to get this item. After this experience I am using Forward 2 me always.

Forward2Me is the worst shipping service provider I have ever dealt with! They simply refuse to ship anything. I used MyGermany in the past for many years and VERY successful. I have never had any issues. Unfortunately, Forward2Me does not ship sweets, or other items as MyGermany had no problems with. They only offer to dispose of my goods! Probably they want to keep and enjoy them. It's terrible and very frustrating! Therefore I can only warn EVERYBODY! Do NOT USE Forward2Me!

As pointed out. F2Me has unlawfully and incorrectly charged me GST, on my package. The GST was not declared in the shipping declaration document provided to customs. F2ME is not registered or authorised to collect GST on behalf of the ATO. Kaye refused to provide a suitable explanation, nor a refund.
Update after company reply:
The explanation provided does not align with ATO rules or the customs documentation for my shipment. Forward2Me does not appear on the ATO’s register of GST‑registered overseas suppliers, the import declaration shows no GST was paid, and the invoice issued does not meet the requirements of an Australian tax invoice. I remain happy to resolve this privately, but the public explanation is inconsistent with the official documentation.

For shipments valued at AUD $1,000 or less, GST is correctly applied at the point of sale on both the value of the goods and the shipping cost, and is not collected again by Australian Border Force at import. This is standard under current Australian import GST rules.
The commercial invoice submitted for customs clearance is a declaration of the goods’ value for import purposes and does not separately itemise GST. GST is instead charged and itemised on the shipping invoice provided to the customer at the time of booking. Our ABN is included on the customs documentation to confirm that GST is being correctly accounted for under our Australian registration.
All applicable charges are clearly itemised on the shipping invoice provided at the time of booking.

The price estimates are a scam. Expect to pay 3 times what they originally quote even with same weight, delivery location and package dimensions.

For shipments from the US, couriers use pounds and inches. If dimensions are entered in kg and cm without converting from the original measurements, this can significantly affect the calculated size/weight and result in a higher final quote.
We appreciate that this isn’t always obvious, and we’re working to make this clearer to avoid confusion in future.

Excellent experience! I ordered a pair of shoes for my wife that were sold out here in the US. I ordered them from a shoe store in Germany, had them shipped to Forward2Me and they shipped them to me in the US. I placed the order less than 2 weeks ago and my package arrived today! I paid for the repack addon and it was totally worth it!
I will definitely be using them anytime I need to get something shipped here from Europe since most stores won't ship here.

Der Kundenservice ist so dermaßen schlecht. Man erklärt sein Anliegen 3 mal und es wird immer wieder nachgefragt obwohl man schon alle wichtigen Details genannt hat.
Danach kriegt man eine Rechnung für einen Versand von über 60€ hingeknallt, was ich persönlich frech finde wenn ein normales Paket maximal 10-15€ gekostet hätte...
Alles im allen kann ich jedem nur abraten von dem Service

I have been a Forward2me customer on multiple occasions both the German and UK warehouse. The service is amazing. I’ve mostly dealt with Jhe in Germany. Customs can be challenging but Jhe was extremely helpful and emailed me consistently to guide me and assist with DHL. I highly recommend! However, after escalating, Tracy (Head of Shipping at forward2me) personally intervened and delivered an outstanding resolution that far exceeded any reasonable expectations:
Acknowledged all errors (delays, communication failures, incorrect handling).
Cancelled the current shipment and issued a full refund.
Waived all storage and handling fees.
Repacked the items compliantly (splitting battery-containing devices to avoid Dangerous Goods classification).
Is shipping everything free of charge today.

I have tried numerous times contacting customer service by email and by phone about my "Consolidation" request for "Multi-Piece Shipment" for my packages that are located in the UK warehouse for immediate dispatch. I do NOT want to "Combine and Repack" which is something I have already stated to this company time and time again.
But they blatantly ignore my request and practically holding my packages hostage. All the while I am being charged storage fees for my packages because they keep delaying my request which they are blatantly ignoring.
Enough is enough, just because I live in the USA does not mean I can't make official complaints toward this company. I want my packages shipped to me the way I want them shipped to me. The sooner this can be resolved the better. I don't want to deal with this company anymore.

I still have not heard back or received compensation for them sending my glasses broken. They shipped my package themselves and I believe it’s because they broke them and don’t want to have to refund the amount they cost. I didn’t pay or even choose a shipping carrier. Very sketchy. Wish they would compensate me already since I can’t even use them and the order was 100 euros.

I have ordered over 100 parcels through Forward2Me, so I feel I can give a fair assessment. For 1–2 small packages, the service is okay. However, as soon as it comes to larger shipments, multiple parcels, or pallets, things go downhill quickly.
The support is slow and often unresponsive. Getting a quote can take up to two weeks, and when it finally arrives, the prices are not competitive with the market. On top of that, there are often days without any reply at all, only to then receive an automated email asking whether the ticket is still open. That's not the kind of customer service I expect, especially as a long-term customer.
I will ship out the parcels I still have stored with them, but after that I'll be looking for a different forwarding provider. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Forward2Me for anyone dealing with more than just the occasional small package.
