During this process everything had to be arranged through a separate email exchange. There was no information or option available in my online account, which is quite strange for an online business. (Please note we are talking about two handtool battery...)
I initially paid via PayPal, which was registered under a different email address, although the company domain was the same. After making the payment, I discovered that my account had been blocked and I could no longer log in. I received no notification or explanation. Money went to them, account closed after that...
I contacted them to explain that I had paid and could not access my account. They replied that the PayPal payment had been flagged by their system. They would not accept the PayPal transaction confirmation either. They requested identification, but when I asked whose ID they required—the company owner’s, the person receiving the package, or the person handling the order—they were unable to give me a clear answer.
After numerous email exchanges, they eventually refunded the PayPal payment. I then paid by card, and after several more emails, they finally shipped the package. It arrived, but the total cost was almost double the original amount.
It is very disappointing that a service provider like this operates on the market. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.
We understand that additional charges can be frustrating, however, we would like to clarify that the repacking requirements in this case were due to the specifications of the batteries being shipped. The batteries exceeded 100Wh, which means they are classified as dangerous goods and must be prepared and packaged in accordance with international dangerous goods regulations and the requirements of the courier. This includes the use of approved UN specification packaging where required. These measures are not optional and are in place to ensure the shipment can be transported safely and compliantly.
We would also like to clarify that dangerous goods charges are not a revenue-generating fee for forward2me. We simply pass on the costs associated with the additional handling, documentation, and packaging requirements needed to ship these items safely and in compliance with courier and regulatory requirements.
Regarding the PayPal payment, we appreciate that our verification process may have caused inconvenience. Due to previous instances of unauthorised payments and fraud attempts, we have security checks in place when payment details do not match the information registered on an account. Where a PayPal payment is made using a different email address, we require confirmation from the PayPal account holder before the payment can be approved. If verification is not completed, the payment is refunded to ensure we protect both our customers and the payment account owner.
We are pleased that your shipment was ultimately delivered successfully, and we apologise that the process felt more complicated than expected. We are continually working to improve the customer experience while ensuring we maintain the necessary safety, security, and compliance standards required for international shipping.

This is my first experience using Forward2me, and unfortunately it has been extremely frustrating.
FedEx tracking confirms that my package was delivered to Forward2me’s warehouse nearly two weeks ago. However, the package has still not been properly processed or made available in my account.
Initially, I received occasional replies through WhatsApp, but that communication eventually stopped altogether. My messages are now simply ignored, and I have been unable to get any meaningful update on the status of my package.
I also opened a support ticket and received only the automatic acknowledgment confirming that the ticket had been received. Since then, I have not received any substantive response, explanation, or assistance.
When a company is holding a customer’s package, timely communication is essential. I am posting this review in the hope that someone from Forward2me will investigate this matter and contact me with a meaningful update.
I will gladly update this review if Forward2me responds and resolves the issue.
We have reviewed your account and, at this stage, the package you are referring to is still showing as “awaiting arrival” in our system. While FedEx may show the parcel as delivered, we do not currently have confirmation that this specific package has been received and checked into our warehouse. We understand how concerning this can be when you are expecting an update, and we are happy to investigate this further with the relevant teams.
We can also see that another package has arrived at our warehouse and requires further processing. Our Customer Experience team will be following up with you directly regarding this.
We apologise that you have not received the level of communication you expected. Please respond to our latest message so we can continue looking into this for you.

My package arrived at their warehouse as a very small, letter-sized item weighing only about 0.03 kg, yet it took 3-4 days before it was even processed and made available for forwarding.
The biggest disappointment was the shipping cost. Such a tiny and lightweight package was quoted at £41 to forward (far more than the value of the product itself, and even more expensive than shipping much larger packages I have sent through them in the past).
The service has clearly become less efficient. They now require packages to be repacked, without allowing customers to choose a suitable package size, which unnecessarily increases the shipping cost.
I can no longer recommend this service. There are better and more cost-effective forwarding companies available today.

The additional amount you paid was not a second shipping charge. For shipments to your destination, import duties and taxes are now collected in advance as part of our Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service. This means all applicable import charges are paid before the shipment arrives, helping to avoid delays, unexpected charges on delivery, and issues that have previously affected shipments to this destination.
We appreciate that this may make the total cost appear higher than shipments made under our previous process, but these charges are separate from the shipping cost itself.
If you believe the duties and taxes applied to your shipment were incorrect, or you would like us to review the charges with you, please contact our Customer Experience team with your shipment details. We'd be happy to investigate and explain the breakdown.

Context was lost several time I needed to explain everything again. Receiving the same answers. Which led me to accept a loss of 40€.
But then sending the package was fast.
So don’t have a problem that you need to return the package to sender because that’s not easy and the website is missing major features. Like that the return address has not your Name etc.

Then i requested to return it to the sender with a pre paid return label from the store, a message appeared in the dashboard saying the return would be processed in 24 hours. A few seconds later the package disappeared from their dashboard.
I sent them an e-mail, and now they keep giving circular replies even though in every single e-mail i do attach the pre paid return label from the store and order them to return it to the store, as if they were unable to read. It has been several days in such situation.
Please return it to the store(sender) immediately.

As a parcel forwarding service, we sometimes need to complete additional security and verification checks before processing certain shipments, but we appreciate that the communication around this has not met the standard we aim for.

After I’d made my purchase from a U.K. website and that purchase was then sent to the U.K. address for Forward2me, I was given the total amount for delivery to my Australian address (including hidden charges). If I’d of known that delivery for one jumper was going to cost £120, I would have never agreed to it. I’ve found Forward2me to be VERY expensive and sneaky with their cost of shipping. Do not recommend.

Our aim is always to provide customers with clear pricing before they confirm their shipment, including the available delivery options, shipping costs, and any applicable charges based on the information available at the time of booking.
