I trusted Forward2me to import an expensive guitar from England. They assured me everything would go well before I purchased. I learned too late that Forward2me knows absolutely nothing about customs. When UPS asked for forms and shipping numbers, Forward2me told me I had to figure everything out myself. They didn't even know what the forms were. They asked to be updated on the process without ever offering to help solve it. Ultimately the package ended up being destroyed after two months of miscommunication. If there is even a chance you will need customs form, please use an actual customs broker and not this company.

Jhe was extremely helpful in regards to the US warehouse.
As a non-English-speaking country, I had no knowledge of transporting laptops containing lithium batteries, which are considered hazardous materials. Jhe explained the background and the necessary precautions, which was extremely helpful.

In my case specifically, I had ordered a record that was an EU/UK release only. It just so happened to be one of my favourite artists and the LP was available to purchase before on tour only in the EU.
I used forward2me as my address and it worked! I live in USA, so this was my only chance. The packaging was phenomenal with the webbed cardboard for protection! It made it to me so quickly.
I think I intentionally picked FedEx as my carrier so I would get tracking. FedEx did not mess around and I had my beautiful record in no time, all the while I could track it.

This concerns the US warehouse. The worst company I had to deal with in my life. I had 2 packages that were supposed to be repacked and then send. They gave me a "best" and "worst" estimate beforehand. When they were done repacking, I was supposed to pay more than twice as what was given to me as "worst" estimate. They packed 3 vinyls into a huge box 3 times the size of the content and then told me that the volumetric weight was higher. Yeah, no sh*t. I had no option of returning because it were signed vinyls with no return policy, so I was forced to go along with the insane shipping price so as not to lose my goods. Support was not willing to explain or do anything about it, they cling to their policies, standard scripts and excuses and think the customers are gullable. They send paragraphs and screenshots of their policies, saying "we can't repack this again, here, it's in our policy, you should have read that", yeah, I read it, but it didn't state that you would more than double the price after I click "accept". Tax was way higher as planned in the end as well because the tax is for goods *and* shipping, and shipping was insanely high because of what forward2me did. I filed a report with German police for fraud.

Forward2me continues to fail at resolving their mistakes. Your photos show the Tracking ID on the package you receive is correct and present but your receiving people assign it to a blank ticket. Not to my account. Then your customer service people do nothing to correct the issue when I contact you.

I'm on my third order through the service, first was with the Japanese warehouse back in 2023 and this year I've had a package sent from the USA warehouse in October and am currently building another package to get it shipped in December. (yes, I could have gotten all of them in one, but in October I did not know that I would order extra items from other sellers that don't directly ship to Romania). Nica has been very helpful through my requests, as one of the orders I've sent to the USA warehouse got split into 2 shipments since one of the products is backordered. But to conclude, I am a happy, returning customer.

Overall, the conpany is really easy to use and it is reliable. I particularly liked their customer service relations. The person that helped with my query and my parcel was helpful and informed me of every change throughout the whole process.
What I didn't particularly like is finding out my item was part of the dangerous goods (item was not listed on their prohibited/ banned / restricted / dangerous goods list. So this complicated the process.
Furthermore, my package that was 1.9kg came with a hefty £75 charge because of the weight. I also had to pay £54 to combine all 3 packages into one. When my delivery got here, they made no attempts to lighten the package. For example when I've ordered similar items from South Korea, the company I use for SK products have a delivery option to get rid of all original packaging to make the weight of parcel lighter so there's a cheaper delivery fee. I hope this is something forward2me can implement.
I was aware of all the above prior to using forward2me so I wouldn't class this as hidden costs. But the price point were certainly too steep for me to use this proxy again for a while.

I recieved 2 damaged books with some dents and dog-ears in them. But I don't know, if it happened at the shipment to the Forward2Me facility or while being shipped to me, because it was repackaged at the facility.

Forward2mе US,A ridiculous company that once sent three times that were not on the restricted list refused to send them. Be careful not to be fooled.
Before I sent the package, there was no information indicating that these letters were considered restricted items. There was no restricted listing. After my package arrived, they told me it was restricted. After a week of negotiation, I was asked to pay additional fees.
I feel like I’m being held hostage. Here is what they said:
‘If you do not agree to the additional fee required to process your shipment under these policies, we unfortunately cannot proceed with shipping your parcel.’”
A rogue company — stay away.

Forward2me provides the opportunity to make purchases in countries and stores that otherwise would be impossible, such as Germany. It solves the problem of a retailer that won’t ship out of the EU or out of country to places like Australia. I’ve used F2M several times out of the UK and Germany. Joyce was very caring and did an excellent job assisting me today.
A shipment just arrived at my forwarding USA address in Wilmington, and I was notified about what was missing from the package. Joyce gave me a nice heads-up about the missing parts from the Retailer, so that there was no surprises upon arrival, now I can deal the missing parts with the retailer.

Very well organized and keep me well informed on the delivery. Professional and pretty clear as to what to do and what to expect. A shame we are hit with tariffs and faced with the elimination of the US de minimus exemption. But that is not their fault.
Many thanks for the 5 star review. 😊As of August 29 2025 (and for China/Hong Kong already earlier) that exemption has been ended — meaning every shipment, no matter how low‑value, may face duties, taxes and regular customs procedures. This creates new cost, process and logistics burdens for anyone shipping into the U.S., and means customers and sellers alike should adjust expectations around price, delivery, and import documentation.

Absolutely phenomenal service!! Was a little nervous using this service as it was my first time. I was able to get one of my dream books from the U.K to U.S. Absolutely loved that I was notified when my package arrived here at your warehouse. It allowed me to then pay the forward servicing fee for it to be delivered to my house safely. Highly recommended and will definitely be using again. Thank you again !

This service is absolutely ridiculous. Will you get your items safely? Probably. Will you pay a fair price? Absolutely not. They charged me a whopping $309.51 to ship a medium sized box from New Jersey to Puerto Rico. It was just makeup inside, nothing heavy or complicated and these people charged me way more than what I paid for the makeup.
I'm not new to forwarding services. I've gotten several big, heavy boxes shipped from South Korea to Puerto Rico since 2021 and I have NEVER paid more $280 for shipping those (of course, this was using a different service but I used fedex with both warehouses). I don't understand how they think charging this much is okay when all they did was shove 2 boxes inside another box. New Jersey is really not that far from Puerto Rico. Both are part of the USA.
Edit: that is the dumbest response you could have provided. This isn't about price matching, this is about the blatantly overpriced shipping. How come I used your Japan warehouse and the shipping was only $125 instead? Worst service ever, a complete fraud. That US warehouse needs to shut down or come clean about the way they are just stealing from customers.
