Product purchased (a car headlight) from Lithuania and forwarded to your German warehouse. Arrived in Australia broken in several places. Probably poorly packaged by the original forwarder, but I would have thought - for what I paid - that forward2me would have inspected the parcel and made a decision about whether it was adequately packaged to survive the rest of the journey. It clearly was not, and I feel very let down that forward2me made no attempt to ensure that it was better packaged for the onward journey.

Hi Angus,Many thanks for your feedback.I am sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with our services and that you have received your car part in poor condition to your Australian address.All damage or loss claims must be notified to us via email as soon as the shipment has been received so we can request the relevant images and documents from you that are relating to the goods in the shipment, so we can then proceed to determine liability for the damage and ensure we are still within the stated timeframe to be able to submit a claim to the courier if needed. All damage claims must be notified by us to FedEx in writing within 21 calendar days from the date FedEx accepted the shipment, failing which no action for damages may be brought against FedEx. I have checked the date that your shipment was dispatched from our EU warehouse up until the date of delivery and we should still be within the 21 days timeframe to submit a damage claim with the courier for your shipment if needed, once we have assessed the images of the damage to the packaging and to your goods in more detail.I believe one of my customer experience agents has already reached out to you via email to request the required images and documents for a damage claim ready to escalate this issue to the FedEx couriers as soon as possible. The service was good. I did have bit of a problem inputting the address since its new to me. Ended up switching part of it but it seem like it did not matter. If i could say that one thing is missing is that in some other service they take photos of your box so you can desided if you want it repack or not.

Very fast delivery once shipped. However, the process is clunky for a first time user, lots to do to make it a cleaner experience. Overall a useful service, but will only use for certain items based on my last experience, on balance it's too expensive.

I am sorry to hear you have experienced certain difficulties with completing processes for shipping your packages through your account and that you feel the shipping costs were not within your budget.
I have calculated that, based on the type of products you were shipping, the shipping price you were offered, for your 4 packages as a multi piece shipment, was one of two best available courier prices, excluding the additional Australian GST, from our EU warehouse. FedEx International Priority would have been the more cost effective courier service, excluding GST, by approximately €9.50
Furthermore if you had chosen to repack your goods for shipping as one piece rather than sending as a multi piece shipment this would have actually increased the overall chargeable weight for your shipping price, you would have ended up paying a much higher shipping rate and you would have also had additional repack charges to pay on top of the base shipping price excluding GST.
The documents you would have been asked to upload from your account, prior to shipping, were the relevant proof of purchases for the goods in the stated packages that you required to ship. This is how our system works out the relevant Australian GST (Goods and Service Tax) which we are instructed to pass on to the Australian government for every shipment we send to Australia through our company. The Australian GST is calculated at 10% of the total value of the goods and also 10% of the shipping costs and this is applied to your total shipping invoice when you process your packages with the required courier service for shipping. We are required to charge 10% GST on all goods with a value of $1000 Australian dollars or less being shipped via our services and 10% on the shipping service provided. Shipments over the value of $1000 will be charged on import. We understand the additional GST charges would have also increased your costs for shipping overall however the GST charges are beyond our control because due to us being a registered international forwarding agency we need to account for GST on sales of low value goods to consumers in Australia.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
If you are already a registered Australian Business account holder which is approved for GST, you can register this account number on your forward2me profile and GST will not be charged on shipping via your forward2me account. The transaction will need to be declared during your usual return to the Australian Tax Office.

Better repack. I had two coats and oaid over 60£ to get them sent to me. Apparently it was cheaper to send them separately. Which I doubt very much.
