A very useful service for people living outside the uk. Once I got my head around the process, it was relatively straightforward and efficient. It was a bit expensive but that was not unexpected. The only issue I had was the repacking charge. I suspect most items ‘need’ repacking and would prefer that rolled into the initial estimate.

I was extremely happy with the customer service I received in relation to a difficulty I was having with getting a package shipped from the U.S to Ireland. Jamie in the warehouse in Wilmington in Delaware was extremely patient, helpful, and courteous in helping me get the issue resolved.

The service has been mostly "OK" but I have to agree with the other reviewers - shipping cost is ridiculously expensive!! I am all for making a profit but I certainly won't be using this rip-off company again. There's no way you can overinflate your shipping charges like that and expect to have happy customers!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have used their services three times, despite the fact they are more expensive than the average parcel forwarding services, because the first time, things went smoothly. I used the UK-based warehouse for a shipment to Paris, France. The second and third time I used their storage facility in Wilmington, DE, USA. During my second attempt, they lost one of my packages and their customer service is awful. The third time was a disaster, for some reason, when you log into your account you're automatically redirected to the UK warehouse although your incoming parcels are being sent to the Delaware warehouse in the US. Because of this, their site claimed "zero incoming parcels". I tried to contact the US warehouse, but you still have to call the UK customer service using a UK phone number. The woman answering did not speak English! And their phone line connexion was so bad she had to try calling me back on my French number all the time, but this was inefficient as it was impossible to understand what she was trying to say. I suspect this company is hiring extremely unqualified personnel that just doesn't care. If you're forwarding only one parcel, it may work, but if you're combining shipments, beware : they're disastrous!

Shocking company that changes rules about prohibited items, without any notice. The same goods that were previously shipped several times, all of the sudden are not allowed. Lost over £80 in shipping fees and they wanted me to pay for the return.

Decided to go with them after reading reviews. First shipment from Japan was not bad, item did arrive, and wasn't damaged, props to them for that. Gave 4 stars because they said they shipped the item one day, but DHL said they didn't pick it up from them until 2 days later. Overall, not bad, shipment options are pricey, but get you your items faster than other options.

A sad demise of once one of the best forwarding companies.
I have been using F2me for over 4 years and always had extremely pleasant experiences with them. Their rates were reasonable and their customer service was very good as well.
Unfortunately in my latest experience with them, I have been subject to harassment and extortion by their malpractice and sheer greed.
A shipment of mine required no need to have "Combine & Re-pack" and usually easily goes through the Registered Post option suddenly did not have that option. Upon contacting them, I received several automated responses which were the same repeated again and again. After almost 3 weeks of this racket, in the end I had to succumb to their extortion and pay for the Combine and Repack with the cheapest FedEx option (quoted around 40-45 GBP). To my surprise and shock they conveniently added another 20 GBP for a total of a whopping 68.30 GBP for an item that was worth 10 and wasn't very large at all.
My issue with this entire experience was their lack of care or attention and their blatant extortion practices. In the past I never had any issues with their service but, now they are 100% fraudulent and can't be trusted.
Such a shame to beg for money like this.

I was super happy with the service. When the package did was withheld in customs the representative Joyce from Forward2Me contacted me and tried to help as much as possible. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Forward2Me. I sent a complete table to their warehouse for repacking and international shipping. I selected “Combine & Repack” for everything in my account and was told the shipment was ready to go. When the delivery arrived, half the table was missing, including the legs, hardware, and instructions, and no one had informed me anything was left behind. It took over two weeks of slow, back-and-forth responses to get an answer, and the missing parts had been sitting in their warehouse the entire time. I was then told I had to pay extra to get them shipped, even though the mistake was not mine. In the end, I paid just to get it over with, but this whole process has been a nightmare. Very poor communication, no accountability, and very slow to resolve mistakes. I will not be using them again. UPDATE: Forward2Me acknowledged the mistake with my shipment and refunded the cost of the second delivery. I appreciate that the team followed through with a fair resolution.

The process for shipping to Forward2Me has been relatively seamless, apart from the payment verification at the end. I was impressed with the affordable rates, and after ordering something to the Germany warehouse getting the parcel to the shipping phase was simple. However, after paying the shipping fees via PayPal I received an email that looked like a Phishing scam from the Forward2Me customer support. It wasn't explicitly clear that I should trust this email from reading through the FAQs, in which there was only one page that mentioned the PayPal verification issue. To top it off, the email was written in somewhat broken English, and I was asked for my Passport/Government ID and proof of purchase, which raised major alarm bells.
To summarise, I think the process with Forward2Me is great, but you guys need to formalise verifying a PayPal purchase (if the email on the account is different) through your site, instead of asking someone via email to send pictures of their ID, which blatantly looks like a Phishing scam

Forward2me have refunded me in full, which I appreciate. I also believe I’ve found a bug in their shipping calculator that may explain part of the confusion. I’ve reported this back to their customer service team and I’m waiting for confirmation.
Once they acknowledge and confirm, I’ll update this review again with the details — hopefully this will prevent other customers from running into the same issue.

1. Step 1 – Shipping calculator: I entered the exact dimensions and weight into their own calculator — FedEx to Hungary showed around $60, with cheaper options starting at $28.
2. Step 2 – Forced repackaging: Once my package arrived, they forced me to repackage it without any proper explanation — only generic copy-paste replies. During this stage, they gave me an “estimated” shipping cost of $84, already about 40% higher than the calculator’s maximum FedEx rate.
3. Step 3 – After repackaging: They claim repackaging is to save cost, but after it was done, the only option left was FedEx at $106 — another 26% increase over the repackaging estimate, and over 75% higher than the calculator’s original FedEx price.
I contacted customer service three separate times to get a specific explanation for this price jump. Every single time, I received the same generic “volumetric weight” explanation — none of which addressed the actual discrepancy between their calculator prices and the final price shown in my account.
At this point, my only “choice” was to either pay the inflated price or have my package destroyed.
This is a very sneaky, misleading, and completely non-transparent pricing tactic. Be warned: once your parcel is in their warehouse, you may be trapped in a pay-or-lose-it scenario.

We’ve noted that your shipment contains consumer commodities. When using the pricing page, you may have entered the full shipping address and selected Perfume, as these types of goods are categorized under consumer commodities.
Please note that for all consumer commodities, there is an additional fee of $28.75 applied as surcharges for the courier for the US warehouse.
The chargeble weight is the volumetric weight of the goods which is 3.9 lbs.
Here’s the calculation you can use:
Volumetric (dimensional) weight = (L × W × H) / dimensional divisor
For 10 × 8 × 8 in:
Volume = 10 × 8 × 8 = 640 in³
Using a 166 divisor: 640 / 166 = 3.86 lb → 3.9 lb
Couriers use chargeable weight instead of just the actual weight because shipping costs are based not only on how heavy a parcel is, but also on how much space it takes up in the aircraft or vehicle.
Actual weight = 2.15 lbs
Volumetric weight = 3.9 lbs (using 166)
All items classified as Consumer Commodities must be repacked in line with IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations. This is a mandatory requirement for safe air transport and compliance with international shipping standards.
Because of this, our system automatically enforces repackaging for such goods to ensure they meet the necessary guidelines before shipment.

Here’s the calculation you can use:
Volumetric (dimensional) weight = (L × W × H) / dimensional divisor
For 10 × 8 × 8 in:
Volume = 10 × 8 × 8 = 640 in³
Using a 166 divisor: 640 / 166 = 3.86 lb → 3.9 lb
Couriers use chargeable weight instead of just the actual weight because shipping costs are based not only on how heavy a parcel is, but also on how much space it takes up in the aircraft or vehicle.
Actual weight = 2.15 lbs
Volumetric weight = 3.9 lbs (using 166)
All items classified as Consumer Commodities must be repacked in line with IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations. This is a mandatory requirement for safe air transport and compliance with international shipping standards.
Because of this, our system automatically enforces repackaging for such goods to ensure they meet the necessary guidelines before shipment.

i'm a full-time traveler and needed items sent to me.
before signing up, i confirmed with their support that they ship to my current location, they said yes. after my package arrived at their facility, they asked for an invoice (which i provided), then my passport, and finally rejected the shipment outright.
it felt like getting hit by a train, lost time, lost money.
i strongly advise avoiding this company.
