In my case specifically, I had ordered a record that was an EU/UK release only. It just so happened to be one of my favourite artists and the LP was available to purchase before on tour only in the EU.
I used forward2me as my address and it worked! I live in USA, so this was my only chance. The packaging was phenomenal with the webbed cardboard for protection! It made it to me so quickly.
I think I intentionally picked FedEx as my carrier so I would get tracking. FedEx did not mess around and I had my beautiful record in no time, all the while I could track it.

Forward2me continues to fail at resolving their mistakes. Your photos show the Tracking ID on the package you receive is correct and present but your receiving people assign it to a blank ticket. Not to my account. Then your customer service people do nothing to correct the issue when I contact you.

I recieved 2 damaged books with some dents and dog-ears in them. But I don't know, if it happened at the shipment to the Forward2Me facility or while being shipped to me, because it was repackaged at the facility.

Very well organized and keep me well informed on the delivery. Professional and pretty clear as to what to do and what to expect. A shame we are hit with tariffs and faced with the elimination of the US de minimus exemption. But that is not their fault.
Many thanks for the 5 star review. 😊As of August 29 2025 (and for China/Hong Kong already earlier) that exemption has been ended — meaning every shipment, no matter how low‑value, may face duties, taxes and regular customs procedures. This creates new cost, process and logistics burdens for anyone shipping into the U.S., and means customers and sellers alike should adjust expectations around price, delivery, and import documentation.

I was able to get one of my dream books from the U.K to U.S. Absolutely loved that I was notified when my package arrived here at your warehouse. I ordered a magazine, and it was flagged as fragile, which meant it said it couldn't be sent by itself. Luckily, I was ordering 4 stamps with it, which apparently weren't seen as fragile (???). Go figure. I had to pay a repackaging fee. Fair enough. But then the postage fee was extortionate! £50! When I used the calculator on the website, it said the size and weight would cost around £10, which was fine. But 50? Ridiculous! But it (FedEx) was given as the only option, so I had to pay for it. The other options were more expensive still! It seemed like there were far too many excuses to get extra money out of me, with a magazine being "fragile" and the repacking fee, and the stupidly high postage fee. How can it possibly cost that much? That works out at well over $100 AUD for me. For a magazine and 4 stamps. Not impressed at all.

The company contacted me, apologised, and offered a full refund of the shipping cost, which I accepted and received. I appreciate the offer, as it was an error on their end.
I've received 5 emails since asking me to update my review, which I didn't do straight away because I was too busy. Despite my annoyance, I am changing it to 4 stars. Not 5 because the process of shipping initially was more complicated than it needed to be. But I am thankful for the refund. Thanks Aimee 👍

The entire communication went smoothly even when I had several questions about my order. Since I was sending fragile goods, I was unsure if everything would arrive unbroken, but everything arrived intact. Also, the delivery to my home address was very fast and fairly cheap (I could have chosen a cheaper option, but because of the fragile items, I didn't).

My last shipment from you guys was the worst you've ever shipped to me before. One thing you guys sent me a email saying that the package of the two lava lamps were leaking a little. I asked you to send me a picture and you did. There is very little liquid that leaked out. I told you just to repackage it and send it and you did. The box that you sent me was a slim box that was only two pieces of little paper for packaging that was supposed to protect it. Which was lousy packaging and you never should have sent it in a slim box so it can be tossed around everywhere. Plus when I buy lava lamps from UK you guys always package it very well and make sure the top of the lava lamp cap is screwed on tightly and has an extra coating of protection on the top and a plastic bag that goes over the whole lava lamp. This time you did nothing of that. When I got the bottles to me you never secured the top of the screw of the cap it was loose and you never tightened it and put protection on top of it which pissed me off and you're repackaging was horrible there was hardly no repackaging done just placed in a slim box and it was terrible. I've had a lot of things shipped from you guys and you guys always did a fantastic job. But this time it was the worst and if it would have been broken it would have been because you guys put it in a slim box with no protection or paper to protect it or a plastic bag over the bottle and a plastic covering over the cap. Don't know why if you knew that the liquid was leaking why wouldn't you have tighten the top cap of the lava lamp and put an extra piece on there with tape like you've done it before which gets it from not leaking out. You guys knowing the problem but you never fixed the problem or helped it so it wouldn't leak anymore. Very disappointed in your service and the way that you are doing things with simple stuff like this. Makes me question if I should look somewhere else to ship my items.
