They charge duties/tax when you send products to their 'tax-free' warehouse...LOL
I ask them why so since I wasn't expecting to pay any duties/taxes when using the 'tax-free' warehouse and they pointed me to the 7883 worded section 3.11 'Terms of Trade'...LOL
Another big surprise when I received the rates to ship the parcel to ship to my hiome!
Took a total of 3 weeks and multiple emails from time they received the parcel to shipping it out to me.
All in, I'm better off just paying EU taxes and ship it directly from EU!
That said, the email support (Hayley) was prompt and friendly.
Regardless, won't be a returning customer...

Once again, we are sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with the information that was provided to you recently regarding our UK Tax Free Warehouse based in Guernsey, Channel Islands. It is clear the concept of our Tax Free warehouse is being misconstrued by many of our customers.
Please be aware that, when you order goods to the tax free warehouse, the tax free element refers to the 20% VAT that is deducted from the total purchase costs of the items from the online retailer either upon checkout or upon delivery to Guernsey. The tax free element does not refer to any import duties or taxes owing for packages arriving to and from the tax free warehouse. You would be responsible to pay any import duties owing for items entering or exported from Guernsey.
The VAT or tax free element refers to the purchase VAT or tax that you save from your original purchase with the retailer and this VAT or tax saving would contribute towards your final costs for the shipping service.
Guernsey is an English-speaking island located in the English Channel between France and Great Britain. It is not part of the United Kingdom or a member of the European Union, instead it is a self-governing Crown Dependency. It has a special status negotiated by treaty that means that Guernsey is within the EU for most of the purposes of the free movement of goods but outside the EU for other purposes. Significantly, Guernsey has no VAT or GST (Tax Free). This means if a UK retailer ships to Guernsey they should not be charging VAT or tax.
Therefore it is recommended that you only look to ship higher value goods to this address as shipping options are limited to DHL and can be a little more expensive than shipping from our mainland UK address.
It is therefore important that you calculate beforehand that the vat saving on the purchase is higher than the possible increase in shipping costs from this facility compared to shipping from the UK mainland.
As a comparison, you would be permitted to pay the purchase price of the goods plus additional purchase VAT or tax plus the courier shipping costs if you were shipping your goods from our mainland UK warehouse, which can mean a much more higher cost to you for international shipping overall.
We understand that the DHL shipping rates are slightly higher when shipping from our tax free warehouse in Guernsey so it is therefore important that you calculate beforehand that the vat saving on the purchase is higher than the possible increase in shipping costs from this facility compared to shipping from the UK mainland.

The fact that I have to provide evidence of an item’s purchase is a bit annoying, but it just shows that they’re thorough. Although it’d definitely be a problem if you’ve accidentally deleted or can’t find proof of the information.

My baggage was returned to the place of departure and charged for international shipping because of a defective invoice. I just moved within the UK and I don't understand why I was charged for shipping to Japan. Also, when I request a refund, they do not respond at all.

We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied with our service on this occasion, however, as was previously advised to you, we cannot issue a refund to you for the original shipping costs that you paid with TNT as you substantially devalued the goods from your TNT shipment.
Our available courier services are not liable to refund us with the shipping costs for circumstances such as this, therefore, for all of your future shipments, we would strongly advise that you declare a true value, if your local customs office believes the goods have been devalued this will cause delays to your shipments and if you cannot provide evidence of these values when requested the goods can be seized by official or returned to the UK at extra costs.
We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

All damage or loss claims must be notified to us via email as soon as the shipment has been received so we can request the relevant images and documents from you that are relating to the goods in the shipment, so we can then proceed to determine liability for the damage and ensure we are still within the stated timeframe to be able to submit a claim to the courier if needed. All damage claims must be notified by us to FedEx in writing within 21 calendar days from the date FedEx accepted the shipment, failing which no action for damages may be brought against FedEx. I have checked the date that your shipment was dispatched from our UK warehouse up until the date of delivery and we are no longer within the 21 days timeframe to submit a damage claim with the courier for your shipment. I can see that you did not request a repack service for your goods prior to shipping, therefore, all of your goods would have been shipped out as they were received from the original senders. I am happy to ask for one of my customer experience agents to reach out to you via email to request additional images of the damaged items so we can assess and conclude this matter further at our side for you.

I'm a stubborn person. An item I wanted was sold out in the US storefront, but I discovered that the company has separate inventory for their UK storefront, and it was available there -- but they did not offer US shipping directly. Forward2Me to the rescue!

Force you to combine and repack. This has happened to me a few times on the same shipment I receive on a regular basis. And they really don't even repack it, just place a fragile sticker. This adds cost and worse, time to the shipment.

The first time I used them, there was no problem. When I ordered the.exact same things to be forwarded, they said there was hazardous materials and had to pay the surcharge. The shipping was nearly as much as the items but I paid. They then cancelled the fedex delivery without notifying me as to why and are currently holding my package and have told me to contact customer service to find out why. I have currently put in a dispute with PayPal to get the shipping back and I will have them return the products so I can reorder and have it sent through another company. It is also interesting that they have done this on a Friday afternoon there time which ensures I wouldn't find out about it until Saturday. Now I have to wait until Monday to get any explanation.

I understand that there are delays in this current state, but please be more helpful to your customers. Get some statistics and check how long shipments via DHL, FedEx, UPS take from your facility to the destination, and share your data so the customer can make an informed decision next time.
As it stands, I'll probably be using Buyandship since the delivery time is just as long, and the cost is HK$26/lbs, less than half of what is being charged with these carriers.
Also, let the customer know in advance that verification will be required. It doesn't feel good learning that my property is suddenly at risk of being discarded in your facilities.

Hi! I’ve recently received my parcel in Germany from UK. I’m really satisfied with the way that they handled and organize the parcel and most importantly I really liked the fact that they have security check of parcel (specially if it’s expensive) in order to see if your purchase is legal but not fraud or scam… since you give the company address for your purchase and they should of course make sure about everything (even maybe how you paid your purchase) to forward the parcel to you. Check the regulations of posting in the website because some stuff cannot be sent. That’s why it’s important to figure all these thing out before any purchase or you can contact them. They have a very big problem at Germany Warehouse ,because if you arrange an incoming parcel to Germany warehouse via DHL (Deutche Post) most probably 25% of these parcels would be retruned to original sender and F2Me did not take any responsiblity and did not try to solve this issue . Returning parcels caused to me extra cost and time lost .

I have been chasing this service for more than a week regarding a package but to no avail. This service has lost the package despite me repeatedly sending the tracking number and so forth. They have just passed me on from one customer services to another. Disappointed by their behaviour. No compensation either. Will defibynot use this service again.
