My first experience with forwardtome.com and it was a smooth and pleasant experience. I was kept timely informed from the arrival of my parcels to their warehouse to the completion of repacking to the final delivery.
Ms. Tracy at CS was incredibly pleasant, patient and helpful, answering my numerous questions quickly and helpfully ~ much thanks and praise to her.

Good customer service, was prompt with email replies. I have been testing different providers of shipping British groceries overseas to the States. I really like the idea of ordering from Sainsbury's, and then having it shipped to me. I thought this method would be cheaper than other providers. Unfortunately Forward2me shipping price is more expensive than others, and they don't provide cheaper options (for instance, if I don't mind it taking a few days extra to get here, I'd like the opportunity to save money on it). I did a direct item by item price comparison, including shipping, with Britishcornershop.co.uk, and they were cheaper by $15 or so. The individual items at britishcornershop are way more expensive - sometimes like twice or three times the amount. But after the lower shipping cost, they come out ahead... Not a big deal, but every dollar counts. I'd much prefer to use the forward2me service, but it is more expensive. Lastly, my order was held up at customs on the US side for eight days which was a real bummer. I know it is out of the control of forward2me, but it hasn't happened to me before and sullied the experience. I would try forward2me again if shipping was cheaper.

Forward2Me really offers first class service, but their prices are high as well. In my opinion, it is somewhat acceptable to charge a bit more when shipping goods that cost a lot via express services, but their fees for small sized and cheap items being shipped with untracked budget services are too high. If you need this kind of service, f2me is the way to go, but do not expect it to be cheap.
