Rather disappointing. On the first attempt the courier could not find the forward2me warehouse, and the shipment was returned to sender, wasting a week. The second attempt was more successful, though shipment from forward2you to me (via Fedex) took longer than I would have expected.

I am sorry to hear you have still been experiencing issues with the delivery of your packages to the Germany address but you were satisfied with the support you received by our customer service team.
Unfortunately we have no control for packages being returned to the original sender for failed courier deliveries to our warehouse addresses. The Germany warehouse address has now been well sign posted for our company on the external side of the building which should help avoid any further delivery issues for our customers orders going forward.
All we can advise is that you ask the senders to state the company name and provide them with the courier contact number stated so the couriers can contact our Germany warehouse directly for assistance with locating the warehouse more easily.Please be mindful that shipments from our new EU warehouse to UK will be delayed due to customs clearance which can have an effect on the original estimated delivery/transit times stated by the couriers. The transit times quoted on payment are only a guideline and can never be guaranteed.
Delivery is dependent on no unavoidable delays in delivery and local customs clearance which is beyond both our control and the couriers.

Overall great service but did find it very difficult to navigate. Liaised quite a few times with customer service, and despite giving them all the weights and dimensions of the item, they kept replying asking for the information. I then sent my item to the UK warehouse (to be forwarded to Germany) only to get a message saying they couldn't send my parcel to the UK?? This was then corrected. I then paid via paypal and was then informed I had to go through additional checks for this too.
Happy that my parcel finally got to where it needed to go to but it was a long and not particularly simple process.

Hi Ahmad,Many thanks for your feedback.I can see you have processed three shipments through our services from our Tax free warehouse.Our shipping rates are reviewed each year, with each of the courier services, to make them as cost effective as possible. The prices with the couriers are based on the volume or weight of packages that we receive and we do also apply our service charge to the overall shipping prices, with the couriers, as a percentage. Please be aware that it is a service that you are paying for through our company as well as shipping.I can also see that you do not ship a high amount of volume in each of your shipments from the tax free warehouse and this would make the overall cost of shipping more expensive. I understand this is difficult due to the type of items you ship are containing lithium batteries which we cannot ship in bulk from the tax free warehouse because we are not yet dangerous goods accredited from this warehouse. All customers who use the tax free warehouse are only permitted to ship a maximum of 2 lithium battery powered items per package but there can be a maximum of 4 lithium battery items per shipment. If you choose to select 2 packages containing 2 laser hair removals in each package, for each of your shipments going forward, this would help increase the overall volume you would be sending in your shipments and ensure the overall shipping price is more cost effective for you.I hope this information is helpful for you. I'm sorry to hear that your package wasn't repacked to our usual standard, if you are able to send over some photographs of the packaging we can report this to our warehouse manager who will investigate why the packaging wasn't up to standard. Our customer email is info@forward2me.com.
With regards to shipping due to the current pandemice situation many of the budget services have been withdrawn, these type of services usually use space on passenger aircraft. Seeing that people aren't moving around the world in the same way as pre-pandemic times space on these aircrafts are limited.
However we are currently working with our couriers to add some new budget services and hope to have these services up and running in the next few months.

The UK customer service had been helpful, but I am still awaiting updates from the Japan team regarding my return packages for 2 weeks already.

Due to the volume of parcels we receive for our customers each day we need to keep the parcels flowing through our warehouse. We understand that customer look to purchase multiple items and ship them together to make shipping cost effective, this is the reason why we offer the 30 day free storage period.
We do base our service on shipping rather than storage so encourage our customers to ship goods within the 30 day free storage period.

It has been a difficult year in shipping due to the CV19 pandemic, due to the lack of passenger flights freight space on aircraft has been premium. This has meant that many of the budget services are no longer viable and have been removed from our offering.
Now the world is returning to a more normal level and travelling hopefully will resume soon, more budget options should become available again and we are in the process of increasing our offering in this area. These services should be showing on our site in the next couple of months.

The product identification has gotten much better at the UK site. Before, I would have no idea what had even arrived. (High volume shipper, same commodity code, I would just guess based on weight), So that's been helpful!
