Well, it worked, I got my package. But after paying YOU thirty pounds for shipping, I still had to pay more than 30 euro's tax and fines. I thought forward2me took care of all that. Disappointing.

I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with the service we offer.
With regards to the shipping price we do feel that we offer value for money for the service we provide, this includes the use of the address, the acceptance, processing and preparation of the goods for shipping including all export paperwork required.
During the pandemic all our couriers have added extra fees to help them combat the extra charges they are facing to ensure that their employees can continue to work in a safe enviroment. Due to forward2me being already competitve we have to pass on these extra fees to the customer. We have also found that many budget services that were offered before the pandemic are no longer viable for the couriers due to the lack of space on transportation so they have been removed from our offerings.
Over the next few months, once the world opens up again, we are hoping the freight space will increase and the budget services can once again be offered by forward2me.
I hope you will continue to use our services and if you ever require any advice or assistance on how to obtain the maximum value for shipping please feel free to contact our Customer service team and they will be very happy to assist you with your shipments.

I have to say - this is a top top company that is really impressive to work with. By nature having someone in another country arrange something for you can feel at least a little uncertain, but their communication is top notch, they are incredibly organized, and their process is easy to understand and use. They also ship unbelievably fast and for what I consider fair rates for an important and reliable service like this. I genuinely mean it when I say I wish more companies were as on point in how they do things as ForwardToMe is. I’ve used them three times to ship from England to the US and won’t hesitate to do so again. Thanks for being great at what you do :)

I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with speed that you received your shipment and the suport we gave you however you felt we are not transparent about our prices and you found the cost expensive.
We do provide a pricing page on our website which allows customers to enter their country, city and postcode then the weight and dimensions of the goods being shipped. This allows the customer to have an indication of the services and prices charged for shipping from the our addresses to the customers home address. These prices do not include any import duty or taxes which will be calculated on import of the goods according to local laws.
For shipping prices, these are calculated on the amount of space the shipment takes up in transit which is called the volumetric weight. The actual weight of the goods would be used for the chargeable weight only if this exceeds the volumetric weight.
I see for your parcel that the weight was very low however the pricing was based on the volumetric weight. We may have been able to help reduce the volumetric weight by using our combine and repack service, this is available to you when you ship on your account. When this service is chosen our warehouse team evaluates if the parcel can be repacked and reduced in size to ensure the customer receives the maximum value for shipping.
I see that you mention shipping from the US and Japan. We currently have an address in Japan if you are interested and will be looking to switch on a US address later this year.

I had bought these perfumes literally two years ago but couldn’t find a way to ship them to the US so they’ve been sitting at my friends house until I could find someone to send them here. I’m so thrilled to have found forward2me! It was super easy to get my perfumes shipped to their warehouse, and then incredibly easy through their site to arrange for them to be sent to me in the states. When the package arrived on my front door, there was such care taken to make sure my perfumes arrived safely! I really appreciate the bubble wrap and packaging to ensure my items were well cared for. I will be using this service again for any of my overseas shipping needs!

As a consumer from Australia, forward2me proved to be an excellent intermediary service. Easy to set up an account, but most importantly excellent customer service provided - very quick responses to my queries (within 24-48 hrs in all cases). Yes, agree with some of the other customers that they are expensive, but I was fully informed of costs so did not go in blind. So worth it! I've ordered many things from the UK to the USA directly from the vendors and the delivery was much faster when going through forward2me. Also the package arrived in great shape. I've had too many packages destroyed or gone missing entirely in the past when ordering from the same places. I also used the repacking service and that save me money and hassle. I was incredibly skeptical of re-shipping services, none of them really seemed promising, trustworthy, and some never announced closure when they wen’t out of business, essentially dead-ending your shipment(s.) Then I came across Foward2Me, and decided that the website and the reviews seemed to be authentic and legitimate. I ordered one pair of Adidas trainers from Adidas UK, and within the week they arrived at F2M, and I was promptly notified that my order was ready to ship to the US. (F2M will hold tour orders free of charge up to 30 days.) Thanks to excellent handling on DHL’s part, I had my “test order” the following week. FFWD almost a month and Adidas is running LARGE Summer sales, the trainers I’ve had my eye on are included. I decide to snag the four pairs and send them to F2M for another go. I actually used the package holding service in order to space out spending on the sale and international shipping rates. I okay the shipment and pay on Sunday evening, and Monday morning I receive shipment notification from F2M. DHL scoops my order up that evening, and it’s on it’s way out of the UK on Tuesday. Wednesday the parcel arrives in Ohio, and by early Thursday morning it has arrived in Austin Texas for delivery. By Thursday afternoon at 3pm, I am holding my package. Manchester to Texas in two days. WOW. I am absolutely blown away at the service of Forward2Me AND DHL. Ship with confidence everyone. This is a legitimate business, and they are eager to get your goods to you.

The service is very efficient and convenient. It would be great to have more insight into the analysis and repacking process, especially the dimensional weight at start with pricing, and the dimensional weight at the end of the process to see how much is saved with the service. At the end one must decide the shipment methods without visibility to any of this. It could be more user-centric. But overall, as a service, being able to obtain essential goods I cannot otherwise obtain in a country where they are not available, it meets the requirement without undue complication.
