The delivery charge was so high for the little item.. triple the cost of item.. I normally buy from UK , sports direct delivery charge for huge pakcages are half the cost.. really dissapointed :(

The cost of shipping is generally calculated by the amount of space that your shipment takes up rather than the actual weight, this is called the volumetric weight and is used by most courier services.

The shipping cost you have paid also includes the use of your UK address, the acceptance and processing of your parcels and any export paperwork required for shipping your parcel. We are a service provider rather than a retailer and unfortunately cannot compete with shipping fees offered by large companies such as Sports Direct.

It may be that on this occasion we could have reduced the packaging of your goods to help save on shipping costs, this service is called combine and repack and the option is available from your inbox and is charged at £2 per package.

Although this price is added to the end shipping cost on many occasions this is worthwhile as it can significantly reduce the overall cost of shipping.

There was no notification that item had been received and needed processing. No email or SMS messages. Then could not process due to IT issue. So delivery took a couple of weeks longer than should have.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive a notification that your package had arrived, we do always send a email to advise our customers that a package has been dropped in their inbox and I'm thinking this may have arrived as a spam email. If you could add us to your safe senders list I'm hoping this would not happen in the future.

You have also mentioned an IT issue when processing your parcel for shipping, I see you did contact our customer care team regarding an issue with entering the value.
<br/>
On receipt of a parcel if an invoice is included we do add the value of the parcel however if there is no information we need to leave this blank. If a customer is based outside of the European Union a value needs to be added to the package details before the customer can arrange shipping, this is required for customs purposes. This would show as an error when you started the shipping process however I see that when you contacted our customer care team they advised you of the procedure.

Our web developers are currently working on our site to improve the customer experience and we hope to have this live sometime next year.

I was miffed I was charged £1 for two days storage. I completed all details (including a request for re-boxing) prior to the item I was charged two days storage for. (It was on the very last of the 30-day grace period.) In other words, I was charged storage while you did the optimization and figured out the shipping cost. The delivery time, however, was exceptional. As was the ease of using the site.

Absolutely fantastic! Will definitely use again. They recieved about 11 boxes from amazon and other online retailers then combined them on a pallet and shipped to the Mrs and I in Slovenia. Only took about 3 days to get here too. Thanks!

Very easy to use. Great customer service. I wish there was a better way to anticipate fees prior to shipping to forward2me address. The FAQs said a couple tees was about $15. I ordered 4 small garments and it was $40. A heads up on pricing would have allowed me to plan shipment better and make better choices in purchasing.
