We wanted to ship a small item from the UK to the US, but the company ships only in the UK. Shipping through Forward2Me was the ideal solution for us.
The shipper we chose was fast and the cost was not extravagant.
We felt that using Forward2Me was less hassle, and not much more cost, relative to arranging for a pick-up.

We call this the volumetric weight. Therefore the cost of shipping was based on the volumetric weight rather than the actual weight of the goods, it is always good to consider the size of your parcel before shipping to envisage the cost of shipping.<br />Shipping prices also include the use of your forward2me address, the acceptance, processing and dispatch of your goods including any export paperwork required for shiping. Hi,<br />Many thanks for taking the time to review our services however I'm sorry that you found shipping more expensive than expected.<br />Shipping fees are generally calculated by the amount of space your shipment occupies rather than the actual weight especially when being transported by air. This is the volumetric weight. However sometimes if the actual weight is more than the volumetric weight the shipping price may be calculated using the actual weight rather than the volumetric.<br />On this occasion although your parcel was quite light the parcel was quite large in size therefore the shipping costs were calculated on the volumetric weight. <br />Shipping fees also include the use of your forward2me account, the acceptance, processing and dispatch of your goods including all export paperwork required.<br />I hope this information helps explain why shipping may have been more than you expected however if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service team at info@forward2me.com and they will be happy to assist you.<br />Many thanks,<br />Kind Regards,Tracy.

I’ve used Forward2Me multiple times over the past few months and never had any issues with the service. They always process my requests and ship my items on time. The only thing I wish they included was pictures of the actual items in my inbox as sometimes if you have multiple items it becomes hard to track. They offer this as a paid service but if this would be free it would be perfect.

Hi,<br />Many thanks for taking the time to review our services, we really appreciate this and are pleased that you are overall happy with the service we provide.<br />We have recently started to provide a photograph free of charge showing the outside of your packages on arrival which shows the tracking information. Hopefully this should help you identify which goods you have received as the seller should provide you with tracking details on dispatch and where possible we do enter the sender details to your package information when this is available to us.<br />However you can also request photographs of the goods within your package via email to our Customer Service team at info@forward2me.com. For this service we charge a fee of £2 per photograph. This was my first experience of using a mail forwarding service, and I have to say I am very glad I chose forward2me.
The website is great in the way that it manages my account and the purchases and packages as they work their way through the system - very easy to use, useful notification emails and very comprehensive.
I used the personal shopper facility and that worked well, but when the vendor was unable to complete the order, the service I got from forward2me was again great and has a really personal touch to it. The refund was immediate and we worked together to get my order a different way.
