I was getting two cushions shipped to me in Australia from the UK and selected a parcel forwarding company without doing my research. Which was a mistake on my part as your company apparently only measures by volumetric weight. As such I received the price of 100 pounds or thereabouts (which equated to nearly $200 dollars AUD) for two $30 cushions. I would have thought there would have been an option to choose by what weight it was calculated, but there was not. Instead I had to have the cushions thrown out and only the covers sent to me to reduce the price. The customer service representative (Chris) acted as if my asking for ways to reduce the price was the most inconvenient thing in the world. Needless to say I will never be using Forward2me again.

Hi,Many thanks for taking the time to review our services however I'm sorry to hear that you were unaware that shipments especially by air are calculated on the volumetric weight of the package (the amount of space the shipment takes up) rather than the actual weight.We do provide this information on our website and I see Chris did explain this to you when you contacted us.I do understand that the cost for shipping the cushions was higher than the value of the goods and that it must have been very disappointing that we had to remove the actual cushions from the covers to make shipping cost effective for you.I do apologise if Chris came across unhelpful I'm sure that this wasn't his intention, he is a very experienced member of our team and usually goes above and beyond for customers. I know it can be very frustrating when things don't go quite right with shipping.We do work with our couriers on a regular basis to obtain the best pricing possible for our customers and feel we are competitive in our market. Shipping does not only include the transit costs, it includes the use of the address, the acceptance, processing and storage of your goods whilst they are with us and all the export documentation required for shipping. Since July 2018 the Australian Government have introduced a Goods and Service Tax for shipments being imported into Australia for goods under the value of $1000 AUD. Due to the volume of parcels we ship to Australia we are now have to be registered to collect this tax and therefore this has increased the cost of shipping to Australia for our customers.I do hope you will re-consider using our services again in the future, we have a pricing page on our website where the cost of shipping can be estimated before a customer goes ahead with a purchase and can ensure that shipping is cost effective for you. This is the best service and best choice I ever made for forwarding shippments from UK to Croatia, Prices are very competetive and service is very simple and easy to use.
Umfortunately it's not good for use from Germany becouse from DE idelivery to CRO is too expensive - probably becouse only DHL offers delivery service so Price isnt as competetive as from UK where yoi can choose between DHL, GLS , whistl and some other courier. Anyway, great service, I recommend to everybody who buy frequently in UK.

The ordering process is very complicated and time consuming.. One needs to be very savvy with computers to be able to steer through the whole process of ordering. Similar services in the USA such as comgateway are so much more simplified and user friendly.

Hi,Thank you for providing us with your feedback however I'm sorry to hear that the goods in this shipment have been damaged. I know that this must be very disappointing for you especially that this was your first shipment with us.I see that my colleague has been in touch with you by email on 13th June to request some further information to submit a claim with the courier UPS however although this was over a week ago you have not responded to the email to provide the information required.I see on this occasion that UPS have admitted they are at fault for this shipment however we do require the requested information as soon as possible so we can submit the claim.Although we do package goods so they are safe and secure for international transit from time to time damages do occur and are out of our control. Once a package has been dispatched from our warehouse we are in the hands of the courier.We look forward to receivng this information soon so we can assist you further and hope this experience hasn't deterred you from using our services again as these kind of instances are very rare.Kind Regards,Tracy.
