UK sales of some brands of infant formula milk have recently been restricted by supermarkets. This is due to unprecedented sales. It is believed that infant milk is being bought in bulk then sold and exported to China.

There is huge demand for formula milk in China since a tragic contamination incident. In 2008 it caused the deaths of six infants and made 300,000 more seriously ill. Trade in formula milk has increased globally and some supermarkets here in the UK have restricted purchases to two boxes per transaction. This is to prevent individuals from bulk buying and exporting the products for personal gain.

Here at forward2me, we have seen some of the larger brands such as Aptamil passing through, but not in excessive quantities. We would like to reassure our customers with small children that you can still use forward2me to ship your formula milk. Don't forget to use our secure international shipping!
