I ordered a couple of lamps with built-in batteries via the warehouse Japan, which were only available with special repackaging. When I enquired, Windy and Regilyn responded very quickly, friendly and competently, repackaged my parcel (at extra cost) and finally released it for shipping very quickly. Their online system for consolidating packages is not intuitive, or is misleading; not intentionally so, but by a confusing design. So too, their system for uploading supporting invoices for customs declarations. They take zero responsibility for any of it. Twice I wrote to their warehouse asking for assistance and both times the answers I received did nothing to clarify how to proceed. Again, not by bad intention, not because they're dishonest. Their system simply needs to be improved. I have used more than a dozen different forward shippers over the past 15 years and have never once had these problems. They take no responsibility for any of it. Done with them.
Their response to this so unbelievably patronizing and disingenuous, explaining to me obvious things about customs duties. In the lead-up to sending this shipment, I had contacted their customer service department twice because their system for pairing an invoice with a particular item was so difficult to unravel. Neither of their responses helped in the least. I gave up on it.
The other thing to know is that I wrote them before I posted my review. There are so many ways they could have handled this, but their attitude is apparently "we're absolutely perfect and have designed a perfect system. Any mistakes could only be your own and now we're going to publicly lecture you on how customs works." Do not use them. There are other forward shippers out there that treat their customers with respect.

Upon reviewing our internal records, we found that while you intended to consolidate your items, the "COMBINE AND REPACK" option (blue button) was not selected when processing your shipment. Instead, the "SHIP NOW" option (green button) was chosen, which instructed our system to dispatch the items as they were, without consolidation. The payment for this shipment was received on 11/02/2025, and it was subsequently dispatched as a three-piece shipment.
With regard to customs fees, they are typically calculated based on several factors. Customs duties are usually calculated as a percentage of the item’s declared value. Higher-value items attract higher duties. Different products fall under different tariff classifications, which determine the applicable duty rates. Some items may be duty-free, while others have higher tariffs. If multiple packages are shipped separately, each may be subject to individual customs processing fees, increasing total costs.
Moving forward, please ensure you select the correct option when requesting Combine or Repack services. Selecting the correct button ensures a smoother process and avoids unnecessary delays. If you're unsure which option to choose, feel free to contact our support team for guidance.

* Expect to pay significantly more than the initial estimate. The final price often ends up much higher than the original quote due to various added fees—handling, repackaging, combining, or anything else they can justify charging for. These costs add up quickly.
* The "Return to Sender" feature did not work for me at all, with no clear explanation from the UI. I had to go back and forth with customer support for a couple of days just to resolve the issue, and it was a bit stressful since there’s a limited return time window.

As a parcel forwarding company, we strictly adhere to shipping regulations for dangerous goods. Our warehouse staff are trained and certified in handling these items, with certifications renewed every two years. We have been following these procedures for 11 years, and not all forwarding companies are accredited to ship dangerous goods. This is a unique capability of Forward2Me.
The pricing calculator is designed for standard shipments and does not account for the additional requirements for dangerous goods, such as perfumes. When an item is classified as dangerous or a consumer commodity, it must be repacked to comply with regulations, including necessary labels to prevent customs issues.
Even if the item is small, it must be packed in a box large enough to accommodate all required labels. This increases shipping costs due to the package’s volumetric weight and the dangerous goods surcharge applied by the courier.
We understand that the shipping cost might not justify the value of the item you wish to ship, and we completely understand if you decide to return it.

It is difficult to rate 5 stars a package that never arrived at home due to customs problems and returned to the sender in almost 2 months.
I must admit that after the first "bounces" and misunderstandings I was assisted with attention and patience (mine was also remarkable)

This is a top class company. The website is fairly intuitive with lots of backup should you make a mistake.There are a lot of delivery options so you can choose what’s best for you.I would strongly recommend that you use the available trial run before your package leaves the retailer as it will give you the confidence to navigate the process to completion when they email you to say your package has arrived.

I wanted to return a package, but after 15 emails, the time for returns has run out. All I received were autoresponders from poor customer support with no assistance at all.
EDIT: after a while, they finally decided to ship the package for FREE to me, so I moved the review from 1 to 3 stars. It was meant to be a birthday present; I got it 2 months and 30 emails later.

This is the first time that I am using Forward2me after I did some research with ChatGPT about which forwarder had the best overall experience. And I think ChatGPT picked the right one.
After a slow shipping process with FedEx (frustrating but not related to this review) the package arrived and since I was a bit unsure and sceptic I used their customer service via Whatsapp and talked to "Honey" in the USA location. It was a pleasure talking to someone competent and friendly and I am sorted and understand the process much better now. Looking forward to get my package!

Helpdesk is very helpful, when I had to send back a package to sender, they were contacting me about actual status.

It's very nice that they ship anywhere. It was a little confusing figuring out the package and stuff, but it came without damaging the product (I bought Mine Turtle from the kickstarter). I would've given a 5-star review if they were either less expensive or if they showed their price for shipping upfront, cuz I was overwhelmed that it was twice the original product's price.
