Could not ship item and regular royal post had no issues posting as forward2me did not understand the part to be sent was not a shock absorber as they claimed.. and they refused to listen or check what it was. Really bad service and they need to be better trained in what something actually is.

I have checked the communication you had sent over regarding the item received to your forward2me address and unfortunately from the link you provided, I can see that due to the item being pressurised we were unable to ship the goods to your country.
Please be assured that we have a number of employees that are trained in the shipping of Dangerous goods and the agent you spoke to via email is very experienced in the identification of dangerous goods.
I'm sorry that you were not aware of this before shipping the item to your forward2me address.
Going forward if you would like to contact us before the purchase of these type of goods we can then verify if we are able to ship them to your country.

I see that when you shipped with us that you did not take advantage of our combine and repack service which may have reduced your package in size before shipping and therefore reduced the overall shipping cost.

This service was fantastic, my order was in two separate boxes, forward2me repackaged the items into one box also removing an item that couldn't be sent due to customs reasons (with my approval first), a great service.

The services provided by forward2me are great and swift yet they are very expensive compared to other providers. This has made me switch to another provider and will no longer receive packages through forward2me.

Due to recent growth within the business we have increased our staffing levels however it does take time to train new employees. The identification of dangerous goods comes with experience and although we are training our staff as quickly as possible human error does happen from time to time.

This service has come in handy many times and is very fast/efficient, but sometimes the postage cost hurts. It's tough when you don't really know how much it'll cost until your package gets to them either (by which time you have no choice but to accept).

Hi,Many thanks for taking the time to review our services.I'm so pleased that you are overall happy with the service we provided you, although you would prefer if the cost was a little less.I see that you are based in Australia, shipping to your country has become more expensive in the last few months since the Australian Government has started to add Goods and Service tax to lower value imports, this of course has impacted on the final cost of shipping as we are now have to charge 10% on the total value of the goods shipped and on the service we provide.We do feel that for the actual shipping fee we offer value for money, shipping fees include the use of the address, the acceptance, processing, storing and dispatch of your goods including all export paperwork for shipping.We do provide a pricing page on our website if you wish to check the cost of shipping before your parcel arrives with us however we would need you to input the weight and dimensions of the parcel which I know is not always possible. Here is the link to our pricing page https://www.forward2me.com/pricing/I also see that you did not take advantage of our combine and repack service, shipping fees are based on the amount of space the parcel takes up in transit which is called the volumetric weight. We offer a combine and repack service where we reduce your package as much as possible for transit, this service is offered when the volumetric weight is higher than the actual weight and may be able to save on overall cost. After promising to deliver to a PO Box, forward2me didn't, and I had to drive 2 hours to pick up my very small packet from a freight depot. When I queried this, the guy who replied, asked why I thought they deliver to PO Boxes - I had to copy the text from their own website and send it to him before he believed me. He passed it onto someone who said they would look into it, but of course I have heard nothing back from them....
The service did not work for me, and the service was **** when querying it. Not recommended.

Hi,Many thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the delivery of your parcel, although many couriers do offer delivery to PO Box addresses they do require a street name for delivery which you didn't supply when shipping. I'm thinking that this was the reason that you were asked to collect your parcel rather than the courier providing delivery.Due to the current pandemic most couriers do have limitations for delivery and collection of goods with many service depots being closed, this may be the reason why you were asked to collect your goods some distance away from your home as maybe the nearest depot to you may be closed.I do believe my colleague is looking into the distance you needed to travel for collection with the courier however as you can imagine courier responses are limited at the moment with call centres being closed and staff working from home with limited resources.Please be assured that we will contact you once we have a response from the courier.I hope you understand we are in very difficult times at the moment and are doing our very best to ensure that our customers are serviced in a timely manner.Kind Regards,Tracy.

I’ve had 4 experiences and 3 of the 4 have been super great and fast. The only issue I had was the 1st time I sent something to the German address. Something happened and my package wasn’t accepted, so it was sent back to the company. The 2nd time was great, I just had to upload a bill with my address on it

Hi, Many thanks for taking the time to review our services.We are pleased that you are happy with the service however that you would be happier if the fees for shipping were lower.Our couriers base shipping fees on the amount of space they take up in transit which is called the volumetric weight. It is only when the actual weight of a parcel is higher than this volumetric weight that the courier calculates the charge for shipping on the actual weight.I see that although your package was light in weight it was quite large so the cost of shipping was calculated on the volumetric weight on this occasion. I'm afraid this is often the case with shipping footwear, we do offer a combine and repack service to help reduce the size of packages so our customers obtain the maximum value for shipping however due to footwear often being in shoe boxes, it isn't always possible to reduce the size of these packages to help save costs on shipping.I hope this helps explain how shipping costs are calculated however if you have any further questions please feel free to contact our Customer Services team at info@forward2me.com, on whatsapp or via chat from our website.Kind Regards,Tracy.
