Shipment took more than expected to be delivered. Delay reason was unclear

I have checked the tracking on your shipment and it appears that the shipment was delayed with customs on import into the USA.
Unfortunately we or DHL don't have any control over customs clearance delays, customs have their own agenda and it is sometimes difficult to determine the reason why they delay parcels. This could be down to staff shortages, further inspections required or additional documentation needed to clear the goods.
Transit times are passed directly from the courier to us so we can provide you with an estimated delivery timescale however these timescales can never be guaranteed and aer dependent on any unavoidable transit and customs delays.
I hope this helps explain the situation a little further, I'm sorry that this situation has prompted you to provide us with a 2* review however I hope this will not prevent you from using our services again in the future.

You always say “Combine and Repack makes no economic sense“ and force us to pay more fees on shipping because you don’t combine all packages together, also it took too long time to response for each request and the reason always is: “our team in Guernsey are already aware of your request, there is a high demand for our service at Guernsey and requests are taking longer than usual. We will update you as soon as possible“, I don’t know when do you have time for helping us???

Many thanks for reviewing our services however I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced some issues with shipping from our Guernsey warehouse.
Our Guernsey address is set up to aid customers who are looking to purchase high value goods where the seller will refund the vat on purchase of the goods or after delivery. For this to be cost effective the saving on the vat needs to compensate slightly higher shipping costs for smaller shipments from Guernsey.
When shipping goods under 5 kg in weight from this facility it is not always cost effective to repack them as the fees for this service may increase the cost of shipping rather than save money overall and I see this is the reason why our team have stated the service is not economical for some of your shipments.
I see that the products you are shipping are lower value so going forward it may be more cost effective for you to ship to our UK mainland address, combine and repack from this facility may be more cost effective for you.
I do sincerely apologise for the delay in responding to your queries for parcels based in Guernsey, we are working on ways to increase productivity at this address and better communication with our Customer Service team.

Excellent service indeed. They processed the recieved package in record time and prepared it for shipping. They released the package almost immidiately after payment and the service of DHL Express International is the quickest dleivery service i have experienced. I recieved my package in 1 ,5 day from UK to Limassol , Cyprus. What you pay is what you get.
