I was preparing to buy some stuff in USA and needed to use forwarding company. After some research, this company (and two others) seemed like the best candidates, with forward2me offering the best deal in regards of shipping. Especially when they offer you option of locking your price for 30 days. The idea is that you calculate your package shipping based on dimensions etc. and they offer you shipping options. After that, you can pick one and you are good to use that prefered option for 30 days. Sound good...
Not.
After I filled in all the package details, I've got email confirming that they locked the prices for me. The only problem was that the dimensions were all wrong. That was the point during which I remembered that one other reviewer had similar experience, so I checked his review again and surprise surprise, he got the exact dimentions in the locked prices email as me. The problem is that my package and dimensions I've filled in were three times bigger. Three times! I would pay so much more if I used them if I didn't noticed that details.
Well, I still gave it several last chances, I tried to fill it again, in inches instead of centimetres, after that I've raised this issue with service desk and asked them to help me sort this problem.
Well, Service desk agent picked my issue, asked some questions and for me to test all of the steps again even thought I described my problem before and added printscreens with all the data and information already. But fine, I've done all that was asked of me, I would say that I replied mostly an hour after I received the email. With all the information required from me. I triple checked because it took whole day before they replied and I wanted to speed the process.
Well, second answer came day later, with all the questions asked again just in other words. Well, I was not happy but did all the stuff again.
Another day long wait and guess what, still the same treatment and same questions. By that time I was viewing this whole issue as suspicious bacause I tried that calculator and locking prices several times, with several dimensions with different metrics and every time I've got the same email with same small-ish dimentions. The same email to the t.
To be honest, if done by some unknow company, I would view it as advertising scam and never deal with them because too many red flags. But I digress. This review is just to let other people know about this issue and warn them to double check dimensions and prices before actually buying something and sending it to their address.
Anyhoo, as for Service desk saga, I just gave up, asked to remove my account and all my personal and account related data as per GDPR (I'm from Europe) and even that was not done properly as I've got promotion email from them just few hours later. After I asked to remove all my personal data. This one is seriously enough to take them to court and I am just little step from just doing that, so annoyed I am right now.
So I decided for more expensive company instead which was recommended to me by other collectors. Being cheap is probably not the smartest thing to do in this case anyway as I am buying limited edition of book (collectible) and it would break my heart if something happeded to it. And tbh, forward2me had few shipping options as expensive as the company I used so in the end who know if I wouldn't pay even more.
edit 18.8.2024: TP site asked for additional information including my reference (F2M ticket I guess), Name and Phone number. I provided reference and Name as they have these information already anyway but I am in no way comfortable providing my personal phone number. There is so many scams that use personal numbers, it's ridiculous. I provided other information as I am not sure if they won't delete my review as false otherwise but that does not mean that I am not done with this company. If I hear from that never, it would be still too soon.

Thank you for your feedback. You've highlighted a bug related to the conversion from metric to fractional measurements on our pricing page. As our operations in the USA (using inches and pounds) are relatively new, we've encountered a few issues since our other locations use metric units.

Many things made this experience super great :-
1-Direct contact through email
2-Super fast response.
3-Patenit with customer step by step learning and email by email no hurry nor any delay .
4-"NICA" is Great person to email with step by step learning about services forward2me and requesting full information that would lead to very accurate price for shipping
5-"NICA" also asked for the product link info so to check all details related to the product in order to provide a very accurate shipping cost and different methods of shipping .
PS: I have dealt with other forward companies yet many do lack good customer service not in the case of forward2me , please do keep the great work and appreciate all of the staff specially "NICA "

I send towel dispencers to german address.
They got ordinary lr20 batteries.
I am not now able to place ship request.
Have no idea what to do
they are still not resolving my issue for 1 day ... I am not able to place ship request saying that towel dispencers are dangerous goods ... they already told that they have to remove batteries used in every children toys and still dispencers are dangerous !
BE CAREFULL STAY AWAY !!! SCAM!
they always screwup with repacking with any package they receive. They make you pay extra for service you never need.

Since your packages contain LR20 batteries, we will need to classify them as dangerous goods upon arrival at our warehouse. This is a process in place for each warehouse although they are only alkaline batteries and we can ship them under special provisions.
Forward2me needs to ensure that the items are packaged according to the regulations. This usually means using appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent leaks, spills, or accidents. Properly label and mark the packages as required.
We do apologise for any delays and inconvenience. However, I believe this issue is now resolved.

kat nica and Julie all did a great job helping me combine 3 packages , they were kind for the whole process and very patient with my messages, very good service

Forward2me had very promptly and reliably my processed my UK received package, very nicely with photos documents etc in their portal and quickly relayed on to my chosen courier (FedEx) for EU region delivery.
HOWEVER, FedEx managed to delay my delivery 4 or 5 times after 2 weeks of waiting with no word from them. I made complaints to FedEx CS and they promised to deliver next day, next day etc etc. Out for delivery before 12:00, then changes to 18:00, then 'in depot' etc. Further complaints led to further unfulfilled promises. They also lied about contacting me to warn me about strikes or something. They finally sent a letter saying I owed some extra UK import tax. I thought it was the cause of the trouble the whole time, but then AFTER they got this extra money they confirmed they lost it a few days before (despite Tracking number saying it was in depot until I'd paid). Total time from forward2me to lost package, about 3 months.
So I contacted Forward2me help centre and KAT in PRESTON, UK was a great help to get my refund from the utterly terrible FedEx.
I hope forward2me seriously consider dropping FedEx, even if I'm an isolated case (they claim bla bla) the way they handled it was shocking in this age of reliable deliver services, why bother with them at all.
So happy to use forward2me again (5 stars), but -1 star for their badly chosen onward delivery partner...

What I wish you to do better:
1. The price for your service should be predictable. Please make sure that forwarding costs indicated in beforehand on your website do not increase tens of percent without any reason.
2. I was invited to check a modified list of my items. I was not able to cancel twice-mentioned items or change the number of them so that the sum would be correct. I guess the idea of checking the list on my side and checking the package on your side should not lead to contradictions impossible to overcome, or simply to the fact that your staff closed all possible eyes in front of the obvious contradiction.
3. As far as my package was possibly opened and checked, a not so comfortable outcome was that at arrival at my house multiple product's packages missed useful parts of their package.
What I wish you to do better:

I was amazed by Kat great service. I had a request at 6:08 Preston UK time, where the warehouse is, so I wasn´t optimistic about a fast response, but she responded right away and she gave me the best service, gave me a guide about all the possible solutions and created a custom one for me, just everything I could ask for in terms of customer service. I´m very happy with Forward2me , this is my 13rd shipment with them this year, really opened the UK market for me. I'm already recommending the company.

I had a problem with an item that appeared in my package inbox (2 bags of coffee with no commercial value) and I requested help from the Forward2me support area by email, where Julie helped me very kindly, who helped me by notifying the warehouse located in Preston, United Kingdom, and within a few minutes I noticed that the problem had already been corrected, withdrawing the item that I had not requested.
Today, August 7, 2024, I have requested the shipment of my package to Peru and I hope that in the next 10 days it can arrive in my country as indicated to me when paying for the shipment.

I am very satisfied with this customer service experience. The customer service representative was friendly and patient, always polite throughout our conversation. What surprised me even more was the quick response time, with almost no waiting. After I raised my issue, the representative quickly understood my needs and provided detailed and professional answers. I ordered a product from the UK and used forward2me services. Nica helped me successfully navigate a UK shipping process I was unfamiliar with, as I reside in the US. There were delays along the way, as I needed to ascertain if there were any outstanding import duties or taxes. Although it took time and patience, Nica was readily available to answer my questions and listen to my frustration and concerns. She provided excellent customer service. I had a very bad and negative experience provided by forward2me. The support staff agent Nica provided me a very bad service and harassed me with a lot of unnecessary questions making me waste most of my time instead of saving me time and making things easier for me.
Agent Nica didn't even bother to apologize to me!

I have so far shipped two parcels through them, only registered with them because of the UK shipping possibility.
I had to write numerous emails in order to ship my parcels. In case with my parcel from the US it took quite a communication via emais, but in the end I have received my parcel.
What I like about Forward2me is variety of mailing companies to choose from, tracking possibility and fast delivery once shipped.
Pity that it just takes lengthy communication to get parcel shipped.

Photograph of internal packaging
Proof of purchase or invoice for goods purchased, showing the value of the goods

I just started, and my amazon delivery was not received or lost. Amazon delivery along with pics is posted in my amazon account. However, no further communication from forward2me other than they can’t do anything about it.
A second package made it, and I initiated shipment; however, the tracking number is not recognized even after 4 days.
I will update my review; however, I am not having great start.
Update: Communication after I posted this review has been great. From those communications, I am convinced that the item lost was not delivered to my Forward2me address by Amazon. Thus, the issue may be from Amazon’s side.
Tracking number for another shipment is now updated.
I am still using the service and hoping to have better experience with time.
