The transport is a lot, minimum 22$ and they also include the price of the amount paid to the carrier in the invoice so you have to pay double tax on it.
There is nowhere mentioned that you must confirm your address with your id. You are only asked to provide that when you encounter your first package and try to ship it. Why you have to confirm it when you basically pay for it to be shipped and declare all the values? you also have to do the border processes yourself and redo the list of items again because it wasn't properly communicated to the first in the first place when you completed it.
For the Japanese warehouse, I have no complaints but for the German one they over-opened all the packages with the motive that is to ensure that you don't have illegal goods to your region. Mate, it came to Europe it was already inspected properly, with an x-ray as it should be done, to ensure nothing illegal for the EU is inside. Even the sealed boxes where opened. You don't even at least get pictures of the package to know if something was missing or damaged when it arrived to them, and I had items missing and didn't know if I should contact them or the other firm to reship it to them and the repay the shipping price :). Also, you have 30 days storage but if you combine a package with 1 day left with another one that has more days left for combine shipping, you now have 1 day left on the combined package. Aaaand if you do this when that package has only a few hours left, which takes a few hours to a day, congrats now you have to pay for extended storage :).
Overall I would only recommend it if you don't have any other alternatives and don't care if some of your goods are missing or seen by someone else and pay a lot of money for subpar delivery.
Update: since privacy doesn't seem to be their concern at all (disclosing names seen on other reviews as well) and the FAQ is considered legally binding to them and is my fault that I read the terms of service and the privacy notice which btw doesn't mention handle of this data.
PS: the blue picture button that is mentioned, only shows the picture that is included in the email that they received a package for you, which is the package sealed with the shipping details on it. So yeah not addressing that a second useless verification can lead to missing items.

The process worked ordering the item and it was delivered to my Forward2Me address in Germany.
I chose UPS as the courier as they said it would be delivered to my address in England in 3-5 working days. It actually took double that time. It seemed to spend a week in Poland.
I cannot hold Forward2Me responsible for the delay.

I’ve been using forward2me for about - year, usually just for things that won’t ship to UK.
Always good service so recently I’ve started using for things that will ship to UK but are cheaper to combine.
I’ve had to contact customer service a few times due to errors by 3rd party couriers (bad labelling) and the speed of response is really good and they have always found my packages, sent me a picture and added it to my “Ready to Ship” list.
I’ve got a big combination order stacking at the moment and have excellent help from Honey in customer service.
Shipping options to UK are many with a good range depending on how fast you want things.

The store I ordered from was unable to use the provided UK address because the format was incorrect. After the store called forward2me though everything could be resolved and I received my package without any further problems. Just signed up with Forward2me so I could purchase a book which is only available for order and shipping within the US to be delivered to the UK.
After purchasing the book, had a query about when I would make payment for the US to UK shipping. I am deeply disappointed with forward2me due to multiple unresolved issues. I filed a return request two weeks ago and clearly communicated a return deadline of August 14th. Despite daily follow-ups, the package has still not been shipped as of August 17th, and the only explanation I've received is that the team is still "locating" my package. This lack of action and clarity is unacceptable. I'm still in discussions with the seller to see if they will accept my package, given that the delay in returning was not my fault. However, I'm unsure what to expect from both the seller and the forwarder at this point.
Furthermore, their fees for combining and repacking are misleading, as the website does not state that these are charged per package. They also failed to honor a price match guarantee by dismissing a cheaper competitor as "not a competitor".
The only positive aspect was the waiving of an overstorage fee due to their slow response. However, this small gesture does not make up for the significant issues with their service.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend forward2me. Their service has been unreliable, and their handling of time-sensitive matters is particularly poor. If you need dependable package forwarding, look elsewhere.

I was preparing to buy some stuff in USA and needed to use forwarding company. After some research, this company (and two others) seemed like the best candidates, with forward2me offering the best deal in regards of shipping. Especially when they offer you option of locking your price for 30 days. The idea is that you calculate your package shipping based on dimensions etc. and they offer you shipping options. After that, you can pick one and you are good to use that prefered option for 30 days. Sound good...
Not.
After I filled in all the package details, I've got email confirming that they locked the prices for me. The only problem was that the dimensions were all wrong. That was the point during which I remembered that one other reviewer had similar experience, so I checked his review again and surprise surprise, he got the exact dimentions in the locked prices email as me. The problem is that my package and dimensions I've filled in were three times bigger. Three times! I would pay so much more if I used them if I didn't noticed that details.
Well, I still gave it several last chances, I tried to fill it again, in inches instead of centimetres, after that I've raised this issue with service desk and asked them to help me sort this problem.
Well, Service desk agent picked my issue, asked some questions and for me to test all of the steps again even thought I described my problem before and added printscreens with all the data and information already. But fine, I've done all that was asked of me, I would say that I replied mostly an hour after I received the email. With all the information required from me. I triple checked because it took whole day before they replied and I wanted to speed the process.
Well, second answer came day later, with all the questions asked again just in other words. Well, I was not happy but did all the stuff again.
Another day long wait and guess what, still the same treatment and same questions. By that time I was viewing this whole issue as suspicious bacause I tried that calculator and locking prices several times, with several dimensions with different metrics and every time I've got the same email with same small-ish dimentions. The same email to the t.
To be honest, if done by some unknow company, I would view it as advertising scam and never deal with them because too many red flags. But I digress. This review is just to let other people know about this issue and warn them to double check dimensions and prices before actually buying something and sending it to their address.
Anyhoo, as for Service desk saga, I just gave up, asked to remove my account and all my personal and account related data as per GDPR (I'm from Europe) and even that was not done properly as I've got promotion email from them just few hours later. After I asked to remove all my personal data. This one is seriously enough to take them to court and I am just little step from just doing that, so annoyed I am right now.
So I decided for more expensive company instead which was recommended to me by other collectors. Being cheap is probably not the smartest thing to do in this case anyway as I am buying limited edition of book (collectible) and it would break my heart if something happeded to it. And tbh, forward2me had few shipping options as expensive as the company I used so in the end who know if I wouldn't pay even more.
edit 18.8.2024: TP site asked for additional information including my reference (F2M ticket I guess), Name and Phone number. I provided reference and Name as they have these information already anyway but I am in no way comfortable providing my personal phone number. There is so many scams that use personal numbers, it's ridiculous. I provided other information as I am not sure if they won't delete my review as false otherwise but that does not mean that I am not done with this company. If I hear from that never, it would be still too soon.

After I filled in all the package details, I've got email confirming that they locked the prices for me. The only problem was that the dimensions were all wrong. That was the point during which I remembered that one other reviewer had similar experience, so I checked his review again and surprise surprise, he got the exact dimentions in the locked prices email as me. The problem is that my package and dimensions I've filled in were three times bigger. Three times! I would pay so much more if I used them if I didn't noticed that details.
Well, I still gave it several last chances, I tried to fill it again, in inches instead of centimetres, after that I've raised this issue with service desk and asked them to help me sort this problem.
Well, Service desk agent picked my issue, asked some questions and for me to test all of the steps again even thought I described my problem before and added printscreens with all the data and information already. But fine, I've done all that was asked of me, I would say that I replied mostly an hour after I received the email. With all the information required from me. I triple checked because it took whole day before they replied and I wanted to speed the process.
Well, second answer came day later, with all the questions asked again just in other words. Well, I was not happy but did all the stuff again.
Another day long wait and guess what, still the same treatment and same questions. By that time I was viewing this whole issue as suspicious bacause I tried that calculator and locking prices several times, with several dimensions with different metrics and every time I've got the same email with same small-ish dimentions. The same email to the t.
To be honest, if done by some unknow company, I would view it as advertising scam and never deal with them because too many red flags. But I digress. This review is just to let other people know about this issue and warn them to double check dimensions and prices before actually buying something and sending it to their address.
Anyhoo, as for Service desk saga, I just gave up, asked to remove my account and all my personal and account related data as per GDPR (I'm from Europe) and even that was not done properly as I've got promotion email from them just few hours later. After I asked to remove all my personal data. This one is seriously enough to take them to court and I am just little step from just doing that, so annoyed I am right now.
So I decided for more expensive company instead which was recommended to me by other collectors. Being cheap is probably not the smartest thing to do in this case anyway as I am buying limited edition of book (collectible) and it would break my heart if something happeded to it. And tbh, forward2me had few shipping options as expensive as the company I used so in the end who know if I wouldn't pay even more.
edit 18.8.2024: TP site asked for additional information including my reference (F2M ticket I guess), Name and Phone number. I provided reference and Name as they have these information already anyway but I am in no way comfortable providing my personal phone number. There is so many scams that use personal numbers, it's ridiculous. I provided other information as I am not sure if they won't delete my review as false otherwise but that does not mean that I am not done with this company. If I hear from that never, it would be still too soon.

Thank you for your feedback. You've highlighted a bug related to the conversion from metric to fractional measurements on our pricing page. As our operations in the USA (using inches and pounds) are relatively new, we've encountered a few issues since our other locations use metric units.

1-Direct contact through email
2-Super fast response.
3-Patenit with customer step by step learning and email by email no hurry nor any delay .
4-"NICA" is Great person to email with step by step learning about services forward2me and requesting full information that would lead to very accurate price for shipping
5-"NICA" also asked for the product link info so to check all details related to the product in order to provide a very accurate shipping cost and different methods of shipping .
PS: I have dealt with other forward companies yet many do lack good customer service not in the case of forward2me , please do keep the great work and appreciate all of the staff specially "NICA "

I can fully recommend Foward2me for shipments from the UK to Europe. Nika from customer service was extremely helpful and kind. The shipment arrived within a few days which I was very happy about!
