Many thanks for your feedback.
I am sorry to hear that your shipment was slightly delayed for delivery to your address in Kuwait.
I can see that the shipment left our UK warehouse on the 9th August and had been in transit for a maximum of 3 business days (excluding weekends) before finally arriving to your address in Kuwait on Sunday 14th August.
We do try our best to make our customers aware that the stated delivery dates for shipments with all tracked couriers, from our website should only ever be seen as an estimate. The stated 2 business days for the delivery of your shipment with DHL Express, to Kuwait, would have been subject to any unavoidable transit or connection delays within the network and also local customs clearance. Furthermore, as your shipment contained dangerous goods there would have been additional clearance checks to be completed to ensure the goods were correctly declared and all necessary export documentation provided for clearing the dangerous goods prior to export from the UK. Unfortunately the additional export checks that are required for dangerous goods can sometimes cause further delays with the export and effect the original estimated delivery times for shipments.
We hope the information we have provided to you is useful, we hope that the issues you have highlighted in your review will not deter you from shipping with us again in the future and that you will reconsider your current rating of our services.

The package shipped quickly but the fee was higher than expected. White Rabbit would have shopped my order and shipped it for less. It would be nicer if your costs were more up front. Good service but high fee. Reliable which is important, so 3 stars for that alone.

I am sorry that you feel dissatisfied with the shipping rates from our Japan warehouse.
Our shipping rates are reviewed each year, with each of the courier services, to make them as cost effective as possible based on the volume of packages that we receive and we do also apply our service charge to the overall shipping prices, with the couriers, as a percentage.
Please be aware that it is a service that you are paying for through our company as well as shipping.
We understand that everyone is facing financially challenging times worldwide and the fluctuating fuel surcharge rates with each courier service are causing increases in the overall shipping prices we are currently offering. Some courier companies review their fuel surcharges once a month and others review and amend the fuel surcharges on a weekly basis and the courier services' are also having to apply additional emergency surcharge fees in relation to COVID restrictions from country to country.
We apologize for any inconvenience or difficulties this may be causing all of our customer's.
I can see that you did not opt for a combine and repack service for your package prior to shipping from our Japan warehouse. The items, decorations, that you were shipping, although fairly light in weight, will have been packed into a larger box for safety/ handling purposes by the original seller. We may have been able to save you further costs on shipping if you had requested a combine and repack service for your package to try and reduce the size of the package further and lower your overall shipping price. The concept of the combine and repack service would usually refer to removing or reducing as much unnecessary excess space or voids in order to consolidate as many times together as one piece to reduce as much volumetric weight as possible but this would be dependant on the type of items being repacked. Because your package was containing fragile items then we would have more than likely assessed and carried out a repack for safety purposes rather than to reduce excess volume and this would not have necessarily resulted in any potential savings on the original shipping costs.
I can see that the shipping cost with DHL Express for your original package had been based on the size of the package at 2.98 kg rather than the actual weight of the goods 0.82 kg and although repacking the decorations into a smaller package may have been more economic and could have saved you costs on the shipping, we do not feel this would have been the safest option for your goods. It is not guaranteed that a combine and repack/reduction service will provide sufficient cost savings on the original shipping price with the courier as this would be dependant on the types of items that are being requested for a repack inside a package.
We must make you aware that we will always assess and repack fragile items, such as ceramics and glass items, for safety over volume for onwards shipping and we could not make any guarantees that a combine and repack service will always assist with reducing the overall chargeable weight for the shipping price.

Great forwarding service - quick and reliable. Not always successful getting goods out tax-free but I think if you can it’s a bonus.
Not a bargain solution though. If you want something quickly - great; if you’re not in a hurry, there are no slow/cheap options to AU.

I’m glad to have reliably received my package. However the interior box within my parcel was crushed, so I could not properly gift it. As a US customer the address for the the locker was a little confusing as it did not jive with the auto fill recommendations for the address when I checked out on the UK website I was purchasing from. Overall a bit expensive, but I was willing to pay to get something to the US that is only available in the UK.

Great company with top notch service. Aimee guided me through the process from start to finish. I had been concerned the company I ordered from (Dr. Marten’s UK) auto corrected the address and didn’t include the account number I was given. Aimee was very helpful through tracking down my package and it was shipped quickly and efficiently. Very happy to find a way to order when I wouldn’t otherwise have a shipping option to the US. They didn't pack my food items inside the shipping box in the securest way. They placed a box of biscuits among glass bottles inside the shipping box without any protective wrapping, such a bubble wrap. They (or their site) also didn't inform me that the total charge for the overall shipment weight could have included a few more kilograms for the same total price.

SCAM ALERT !!! This is the scam company! Will take your package and shipping money and will not answer you anymore! Your items will probably end in eBay and you will get scammed for shipping money! Once they receive package and payment for shipping , support will no longer existing for you and don’t trust those 5 stars payed reviews. They will answer here in A4 format in google reviews with excuses how is everything your mistake because here is visible for public , instead of invest those time in support. My advice just choose another serious company there are plainly of them.

When Forward2me are repacking combined item pack them in a strong and sturdy manner so the item are protected from getting damage. But for the first time the materials used to repack my items was not adequate which has coursed some item to get damaged not happy at all.

All damage claims must be notified by us to FedEx in writing within 21 calendar days from the date FedEx accepted the shipment, failing which no action for damages may be brought against FedEx. I have checked the date that your shipment was dispatched from our UK warehouse up until the date of delivery and I am not sure we will still be within the 21 days timeframe to submit a damage claim with the courier for your shipment, if required, once we have further assessed the images of the damages to the packaging and to your goods.

Requested several hardcover books, some clothing and canned goods to be included in the package, but they were not packaged in an orderly manner.
Damage would have been mitigated if, for example, the books had been stacked each other.
No such consideration was given, they were just packed in a messy way.
It's a shame, because it used to be not bad.

forward2me provide a fantastic service that enables me to buy online items from Germany who do not ship direct to the UK. The couriers they use are not cheap (compared to the forwarding people I use for the USA and Canada) but they are reliable and I know that my packages will arrive both on time and safe and sound.
I have yet to use the mailing addresses they have provided me with for Japan or Turkey but am confident that they will be equally effective.
Living in what is termed a "Global Market" nowadays forwardtome provides an essential service and I highly recommend them.

This was my first time using a forwarding service and Forward2Me were great - there were no unexpected charges, the prices were fair, I bought two items separately and they could be combined to save money, and once they had the item it was shipped to me very quickly. I was not aware that you will open all packages to see what is inside. Later I understood that this is necessary to prevent sending illegal products.
Maybe you should mention this on your website.

Forward2me is a reliable , efficient and creative solution provider. For many years I enjoy their support , never experienced any problem. Brexit "forced" me to abandon their UK operation and start to use the German one instead. (Guernsey does not work either)

they work great, fast and orderly, everything is easy to do. BUT, it's very hard to get the cheaper options of DHL or Postal Service. Has to do with the value of the shipment and possibly size. so I ended up paying for a pair of shoes which I only bought online because it was a better price then local, much more then I needed to. So it wasn't worth it, the shipping was almost twice what the shoes cost me.

I had no idea how to purchase some items and have them shipped to me, where shipping wasn’t available from the UK to the US. I did a search and found Forward2Me. I did a shipping estimate on my own and was pleasantly surprised to see rates less than half of what I estimated, using FedEx.
Purchasing was straight forward. Forward2Me received my order, reviewed it, suggested I have it repacked for a small fee, and add insurance. I am happy with the whole experience from beginning to end.
I will definitely be using Forward2Me’s services in the future.

The customer service is generally helpful but packaging is variable. Ben Heaton recently packed my stuff with love and care and yesterday I had a package with fragile items all broken. Thr packaging is done so badly in a cheap discarded box with hardly any styrofoam or packing papers. The boxes are often opened by regulators in the UK and India but they do
not remove any packing materials or repack into a cheaper box!
