All in all the experience was smooth. Prices are reasonable. I like that they let you fill out the customs form yourself. I’ve had bad experiences with other companies who fill out the forms then overstate the values or put the wrong items. Sometimes you can even declare a little lower and safe some taxes. Shipping was quick and without problems. I wished there were a few more packaging options though, e.g. for fragile items, and that they offered photos. I shipped a book and a pin and the pin left a dent in the bookcover because the pin wasn’t bubble wrapped separately but mashed against the book. This is also what’s keeping me from trying out their US facility.
I’ve used forward2me a couple times now and never had a bad experience. Compared to other forwarders they’re very hassle free and affordable. They appear to be a trustworthy company and I would definitely use them again.

Prompt answering from customer support when I had questions. Got my item (a stuffed animal from Germany) in about 2 weeks.
I was a little worried based on some other online reviews but it worked out great for me. Be careful shipping anything that customs might not like (ie fragrance is supposedly a hard one).

The estimated prices and shipping process was extremely inaccurate. Also, it would be helpful for the company to mention VAT cost or try to estimate the VAT cost so customers know how much they are actually going to have to pay. In the end, I paid over 200 more just to ship the product to me. When my original estimate was around 40. But once I started, I basically could not stop. Maybe the process works for some people, but it is not something I would do again.

Overall my experience with your service has been great except this most recent time. I had reached out via email because I felt like there were some incorrect items in my box. I was advised somebody would look into it and get back to me but they never did. I went ahead and paid for shipping on the items you had in my box because maybe I had made the mistake. However, when the items arrived I realized that most (29 items arrived, 14 belonged to me) packages in my box were actually intended for another person that just so happened to be located in my local area. Think about this, had I not been the one who received the packages this other individual would have been out on 15 items. That's just wild to think, and what makes it worse is that I identified the issue was but it was never looked into further. This makes me hesitant to continue to use your services.
Update: everything has been rectified, and they went above and beyond to do so. Customer service is beyond exceptional and I understand that mistakes happen so overall a non-issue at this point because they took the time to understand and resolve the issue and once again went above and beyond to do so. Highly recommend their services based on their service alone.

I ended up paying almost 3 times the value of my package… not worth it- will not recommend (especially for small orders)
They offer to match competitors rates but this is irrelevant because most companies won’t give you the price of shipping before they have the package and can examine it.
Either way - any logical person would agree that paying over 100£ for a package that is worth 40£ is ridiculous, especially since it’s a tiny package that weighs almost nothing.

Great for being able to get stuff from folks who don't want to ship international. The price to ship things on to you once it's received by F2M is very expensive. I buy a lot of stuff from overseas and F2M's prices and shipping options are much higher and I don't use the service as much as I would like as a result.
