If you haven't bought your summer wardrobe yet, check out these top brands for summer fashions:

Top of the pops is Topshop - still popular and trendy for bright young things. Not too expensive either - great if you have teenagers who want to wear cool stuff. Aztec prints are everywhere on the high-street. Harem pants too. Wide-legged trousers for flattering summer figures keep you cool and elegant. Topshop is also great for the younger man (or the trendy older man).

Zara is the top-end of the high-street affordability. This season's fashions from Zara feature washed-out denims, floaty chiffons and shoulders. Shoulders seem to be this year's favourite body part to reveal. There's even a top called a 'cold shoulder'. There are also some beautiful florals, even in the menswear. Tailoring features heavily and they even have the much-discussed suit shorts for summer office wear. Only for the brave...

H&M and Next are brilliant brands for kid's clothes and every-day items. Holiday wardrobe purchases from H&M are a must. Next have the cutest pictures on their website of boys in suits - great for summer weddings.

If you are a dapper gentleman, Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss are brands that you are probably familiar with. Polo is their most iconic brand and it's still going strong. Not just polo mints shirts, but shorts, shades, loafers and suits. There's something about the Ralph Lauren name that I associate with summer, yachts and living the high life. If you want to look cool this summer, just shop online and let our fast and efficient international shipping do the rest. Hugo Boss will always mean aftershave to me (but that's another story). As a fashion brand, the clothes are very European in style, coloured chinos, smart suits and jackets for men. I didn't realise until now (but then I live under a rock...) that both Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss do women's clothes too. They are also very stylish, as you'd expect from these brands.

So far, the brands are all about smart casual, formal and everyday clothes. What about the sporty fashions? With Wimbledon around the corner, it's the season to get the sports fashions on track. Adidas and Nike are still the top brands here in the UK. Nike's look is all about spots and stripes this year. Adidas has collections by Rita Ora and Stella McCartney. Sportswear is getting more and more glamorous, it seems.

Although it's still cold and blustery here in the UK, you might be more fortunate and actually get to wear some lovely summery clothes! We optimistically buy summer clothes each year then give them to charity a few years later because we just haven't worn them...

Don't forget to use our personal shopper service for all the latest fashions you can’t purchase yourself. Happy hunting!
