Did you really need or want that present?

It’s been that great time of the year when we give and receive presents. Unfortunately from time to time we may receive presents that we didn’t particularly want or need. What do people do with them? Some take them to the local charity shop, some push them into the back of a drawer, some pop them in the dustbin when no one’s looking and others decide to cash them in on ebay to buy something more useful.

Lots of our customers are snapping up these bargains on ebay and using the forward2me door to door tracked service to receive them in their destination country, not just now, but throughout the year.

What is ebay?

Ebay is an online auction site that was founded in 1995 and has become the world's biggest for selling initially, used or goods that are no longer required but more recently new items. Individuals and companies can buy and sell items at sometimes a fraction of its original cost.

What do people sell?

You can find most things on there – collectables, vintage, decor, appliances, computers, furnishings, equipment, domain names, vehicles, clothing, toys, food mixers and lots of other miscellaneous items. Basically anything can be sold on the site as long as it’s not illegal and doesn’t violate the prohibited and restricted items policy.

What do I do?

Why not get in on the act and look out for those discarded presents, place your bid and when you win the auction, use your forward2me UK mailing address for delivery and we’ll take care of the international delivery for you.

We can also arrange to collect if the seller offers ‘Collection Only’ service - get in touch with our customer services department if you have any questions.

Give it a try – lots of our customers are already doing it!
