Results of a Lloyds TSB International survey, published in the Telegraph, revealed that Brits living in Spain have the highest quality of life.
British expats living in Spain are abundantly happier than those living elsewhere, preferring Spain to their home country, according to a survey conducted by Lloyds TSB International.
The research found 75.9% of Brits were happier living in Spain, although economic difficulties still prevailed.
Surprisingly, expats considered Spain’s economic struggles unimportant, with 71.3% believing themselves to be financially better off than if they were back in the UK. In general, 68% of British expats said they were leading happier lives abroad.
A spokesman for Lloyds TSB International, said the survey gave an impression of "the real variety of decisions to be made when choosing where to emigrate”.
